About

Brookshire Gardens was built in 1852, just two years after the town of El Dorado was established. The house and barn were originally part of an eighty-two acre cattle ranch. The barn housed the ranch’s blacksmith shop. The land has since been divided and the house and barn remain on two acres.

The house has survived two major fires. The first in 1923 burned down all but a few structures in the town. The second fire in 2004 was caused by a defective wood stove.

Brookshire Gardens has been hosting weddings and events since the early 1990’s. We enjoy sharing the grounds and are committed to helping you create a lasting memory. We look forward to an opportunity to make your dreams come true.

I can't say enough good things about Brookshire Gardens.

LOVE Kurt and Nina. They were awesome throughout everything, which I knew would be the case after first meeting. They are down to earth and caring and worked with us. They were understanding and supportive and I felt like they were like family on the day of our wedding- helping out with anything we needed and celebrating our wedding with us.

Their property is gorgeous and makes for an intimate and beautiful wedding- especially ceremony.

The barn for the bride to get ready in was huge and fit many family and friends and had significant space for getting ready.

Tons of beautiful locations for pictures.
