Exquisite Appetizers by a Talented Wedding Caterer

I recently had the pleasure of working with a Broken dish who provided the appetizers for my daughter's wedding, and I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful. From the moment we tasted their culinary creations, we knew we had made the perfect choice.

The caterer's attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every bite. The appetizers they prepared were not only visually stunning but also bursting with flavor. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing a perfect balance of textures and tastes that left our guests craving for more.

The variety and creativity of the appetizer selection were truly impressive. From beef Wellington to elegant bruschetta, the caterer showcased their culinary prowess with a diverse range of options that catered to every palate.

In addition to the exceptional taste, the presentation of the appetizers was a feast for the eyes. The caterer paid meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each dish was beautifully arranged and garnished. The result was a visually stunning display that added an extra layer of sophistication to the wedding reception.

What truly set this caterer apart, however, was their impeccable service. From the initial consultation to the day of the event, their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident. They took the time to understand our preferences and dietary restrictions, working closely with us to create a customized menu that exceeded our expectations.

On the day of the wedding, the caterer's team arrived punctually, fully prepared with all the necessary equipment and ingredients. They seamlessly coordinated with the venue staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient service. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on both us and our guests.

The caterer's passion for their craft and dedication to creating a memorable culinary experience was evident throughout the entire process. Their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients and their ability to execute flawless execution made for an unforgettable appetizer spread.

If you're in search of a caterer who will elevate your wedding reception with exquisite appetizers, I wholeheartedly recommend this talented team. Their culinary creations are a testament to their passion and expertise, and their commitment to providing exceptional service will leave you and your guests with a truly memorable dining experience.

Extremely disappointed in this company

Extremely disappointed in this company. First of all, they charge you $150 per person just to taste the food and they don’t take that off the invoice when you book with them. I was MOH at a wedding at Ever After Farms, where the owner of Broken Dish Catering brought his wife and child but left before the food was served. We were told you would get one each of the chicken and beef entrees, when we were called up, we were told they were only able to serve you one of each. The short rib was all fat that you couldn’t even eat it, the mac and cheese tasted like watered down cheese and noodles, the chicken was over cooked and the only food that was tasty was the mash potatoes and bread. A bunch of the guests didn't eat and left early because they were starving. There was no table service, and everything was grab your own or get nothing. Based off how much they spent on the food; I expected the food to be amazing. I stated to the bar tenders how horrible the food was and even spoke with the lady who helped with Ever After Farms and she agreed. I would not recommend this caterer if you are planning on having a wedding with more than 25 people.

Stay away!!!!!

This guy is a scammer! Makes promises he cannot deliver. I attended a wedding for over 100 guests. Not only was he late, he began cooking at the reception! . Served a spoonful of rice and a tiny piece of either chicken or brisket. He was late, unprofessional, unprepared and the rudest staff ever. He charges an arm and a leg for a bbq style catering u would find at a park. Half the guest did not even get hor’dervs. The bar tender was rude and nasty. The first thing i noticed was the yfood was being served out of aluminum disposable trays at a wedding! The portions were too small for children. If you asked for an extra serving the staff would yell at you and give attitude. With that half the guests left by 7:30pm because they were starving. . Where did he find these people, prison?
He also supplied a wedding coordinator who was the worst part of the wedding. This lady was lost and drunk. She was caught drinking and dancing on the dance floor instead of doing her job! As maid of honor, i had to step in and coordinate the remainder of the wedding thanks to this horrible staff!!!! Again stay away from here. Do not hire!!!! And because ever after farms recommends him as a preferred vendor stay away from them too!!!!

Do not hire!

If I could give this 0-stars I would!! I don’t even know where to begin. What was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life ended up being extremely stressful and disappointing due to the lack of professionalism, organization, and service from this company. We hired Broken Dish as our Caterer, Bartender, and Day-of-Coordinator.

The biggest issue was our day-of coordinator, Roxann. She arrived late, already flustered and overwhelmed, and from that moment on, things only got worse. Instead of creating a calm and seamless environment, she immediately came to me (the bride) with problems—telling me there was “no way” she could get the flowers on the arch and that staff wouldn’t help her. This is something that should NEVER have been brought to me on my wedding day.

Throughout the day, she failed to manage timelines, gave my bridal party incorrect instructions (forcing me to step in and fix it myself), and completely mishandled key moments of the ceremony. I even had to walk back inside during my ceremony entrance because she sent me out at the wrong time while my husband was already facing forward—completely ruining that moment.

Basic expectations were not met. There was no food or drinks in the bridal suite despite me emphasizing this multiple times. I barely ate on my wedding day. My guests complained about rude service and extremely small portions. When guests asked for something as simple as an extra spoonful of rice, they were denied. My nephew, who performed during dinner, didn’t even receive his meal as requested—something I had clearly communicated multiple times—which is completely unacceptable.

The reception was just as disorganized. Tables were mislabeled, guests were confused about where to sit, and dinner service was chaotic. It created unnecessary stress not only for me but for my husband and our guests.

The bartender, Rianna, was also extremely rude and unprofessional. She argued with my husband about his own signature drink and dismissed him, which is unacceptable behavior. Even worse, the mother of the bride was ignored at the bar and told to wait with a hand gesture while others were helped first. That level of disrespect is shocking.

To make matters worse, Roxann was seen drinking during the event, despite us being told vendors were not allowed to drink. She was also unavailable during key moments when issues arose and even appeared to be dancing instead of managing the event. My bridal party and family ended up stepping in to do her job, including organizing our sparkler exit.

After the wedding, I spoke directly with Chef Dominick about everything that occurred. He verbally acknowledged the issues to me—in front of my husband and father-in-law—and agreed that I would at the very least be reimbursed for the coordination portion of my contract. However, after he asked me to send a detailed email outlining everything—which I did—he has completely stopped responding. He has ignored both my emails and text messages for several days.

At this point, I feel completely dismissed as a client and taken advantage of. Due to the lack of response and accountability, I now feel I have no choice but to escalate this matter further, including pursuing legal action if necessary.

Overall, the experience did not reflect what was promised or what we paid for. This was a significant investment, and the service fell far below expectations. Instead of feeling supported and taken care of, I felt stressed, overwhelmed, and let down on my wedding day.

I would STRONGLY advise future couples to reconsider booking with this company.

Worst service ever

Ran out of food , at least half of guests didn’t eat. Servers young and rude . No water for tables . Very unprofessional . Wedding planner had never seen such an unorganized company . Didn’t even bring napkins for the cocktail hour that he over charged for . Do not use
