I transported my dress from Manhattan to Atlanta, so it was in desperate need of pressing before our wedding day. I dropped my gown off with Ruby V on the Thursday afternoon before our wedding and it was ready the next day! She is very knowledgeable and has seen many wedding gowns over the years!

Ruby took care of all the alterations for the bridesmaid's dresses in our wedding. She also altered evening gowns for the bride. She is the nicest person to work with. Her shop is lovely. All the dresses were perfect. Everything was done on time. I will use her again

I actually cried after I left my last fitting with my dress- I had so many fittings and visits with Ruby that I felt like she was part of my wedding experience. And I felt guilty for not inviting her to the wedding!

Ruby altered my mother's dress for me perfectly. She removed the sleeves, added buttons on the back, recreated the bustle, added length at the bottom and made me feel beautiful. For sweet words and fantastic skill, look no further than Ruby! Her prices were the most reasonable I've ever encountered.

I walked in with a sample dress, a size or more bigger than me, that had some damage. She fitted it to me perfectly, mended the damage so it looked like new, and meticulously bustled and hemmed it.

Ruby was fantastic to work with for my alterations. I came in with a gown that was several sizes too big, and she cut the size down significantly from there. Then, at my next fitting, I had 'accidentally' dropped 20 or so pounds, which pretty much negated all of the work she had done. We then had to have ANOTHER fitting, a mere week before I left for Puerto Rico for my wedding, and that third time the dress almost fit, but was still a little big. Poor Ruby had to alter my complicated beaded straps over and over again, but in the end the dress was beautiful and fit like a glove. I am not sure what normal bridal alterations are - they were on the upper end of what I had budgeted for them, but it was worth it for have a perfect dress in the end.
