Bob is a sweetheart and a character. Positives: fantastic price, knows difficult name pronunciations, plays sax, accommodating, follows your play list, makes you CD's and loves his job.
Cons: made a music choice or two during dinner that didn't work, but seriously - who cares when everything else goes perfectly.

My guests loved him. Dresses impeccably. Returns your calls. What more can you ask for?

BOB IS AMAZING! With most vendors, you have to go to them to discuss pricing and vision. Bob was more than willing to drive to my home in central, MA to meet with us. He came in dressed in a suit and ready to do business. After that meeting, I knew I wanted him to be our DJ. During the months that followed, I did get a bit nervous because we never met with him again. He sent us his portfolio of music to go through and everything from then on was done through mail. In the end, I had nothing to worry about! He offered us a mix of DJ and band. He had all the music we wanted but he also added personal touches. He would play the sax to enrich some of the songs and during salads he sang "That's Amore," which everyone loved. Our guests still talk about how great Bob was and our dance floor was constantly filled, something you don't always see at a wedding.

DJ Bob is amazing! He plays the sax at cocktail hour and with the music at the reception to some songs. Got the party started and kept it going! We had a blast at our wedding- couldn't have asked for a better DJ! DJ Bob is the best!!!

Bob Solano was the best! He kept the guests dancing and entertained for the entire reception. There was never a dull moment. We couldn't have had a better time. He was well-organized and had everything planned exactly as we discussed; very professional. I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect day. He even provided us with CDs, so our memories would last us a lifetime. If you're looking for an awesome time, then go with Bob. As an extra, he is quite the sax player, which our guests loved :)

Bob was the DJ at our wedding at The Harding Allen Estate and he was great. He even played his saxophone a couple of times. I didn't pick any of the music for the reception, but gave him a very vague idea about what we liked. The music was perfect - everyone loved it and was up and dancing all night. He didn't play any cheesy wedding music - except for the "Cotton-Eyed Joe" - but only because I (the bride) requested it :)
He really had a great sense for what the guests wanted and just went with it. I would highly recommend him.

We used Bob for our wedding at the Harding Allen Estate. He was excellent. My family was on the dance floor all night because he could read the crowd. I emailed him a few times to add songs to my playlist last minute and he worked them into the day seamlessly. He was able to do out anniversary dance and made my aunt and uncle feel so special. I would highly recommend him for any event!!!

As a wedding photographer, I get to know a lot of DJ's!! I loved Bob from the moment we met many years ago. He is so sweet and fun to be around and always has the dance floor full no matter the crowd's age range!! It's amazing! I had a lot of older guests, and Bob had them dancing until the last dance! One of the funniest memories was that 15 year old step-son was on the dance floor AND break dancing with a circle around him when he told me he would not be dancing at all! haha! Our kids even said after the wedding, "I did not know weddings could be that much fun." Thanks to Bob for keeping that party alive!!!!

Bob also did our ceremony music and it turned out flawlessly. Bob made the song selections easy before the wedding and even asked us what we didn't want to hear. He even helped us decide on how to pull off certain formalities and such so that it all flowed perfectly.

Bob gives 100% to every wedding, and I love how enthusiastic he always is about what he does. He does have fun, and it shows. It was so nice to have Bob there for our wedding day and my family really loved him! (My Aunt even asked if he was single! haha!)
