We had a hard time picking out a photographer because there seem to be so many in Portland. We finally decided on Brian and we were not disappointed. He was fun, full of energy and great with the kids at our wedding. We had a blast and our pictures turned out great. We get compliments all the time. We know we made the right decision and our pictures will be treasured for years to come. The only thing I would say is to contact Brian by phone versus email at first because he is a busy guy but fully worth it!

Brian is a TRUE artist, and I couldn’t be happier with the work he did for our wedding! Our wedding photos are gorgeous – the composition, lighting, editing, etc are flawless – but more than that, they capture the emotions of the day perfectly. Looking at the photos transports me back to the day in a way nothing else could!

On the day of, Brian was wonderful. He chose interesting and unexpected spots for photos, kept to the schedule, and was energetic and inventive (he flipped over a grocery cart and jumped on top to take photos from *just* the right angle). Furthermore, he was completely unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception – I didn’t even know he was there half the time! He brought a second shooter with him, which was a surprise to us… and was VERY much appreciated!!

Brian’s strengths, I think, are in capturing moments in time – his candids are vibrant and full of life, and they suck you in like no other photos I’ve ever seen. He has a flat rate for anywhere, and I think his prices are more than fair for the quality of his work. I’d hire him again in an instant!

A disclaimer: we haven't seen all our photos yet. However, Brian was very fun to work with and (of the photos we've seen), we are quite pleased. Brian is a hgih energy person but was so unobtrusive at the ceremony and reception, I barely knew he was there. Highly recommended
