When I first saw my album, I was blown away because it was what I had envisioned times 10. Blythe had completely captured the whole day beautifully and exactly how I had pictured it. I felt like I had re-lived the whole day all over again but with extra insights to other things that were going on that I was not physically able to see. (ie, groomsman photos, him getting ready, candids, etc).

I felt like Blythe and I were kindred spirits. We were always on the same page and I knew that she could see my vision without me having to say a whole lot. It was an absolute joy working with her and I wasn't kidding when I said she is my family's photographer from now on! Honestly for me, I loved that Blythe knew when I needed a big hug and some deep breaths because the day was getting overwhelming. She was able to tell that I was kinda starting to panic and knew exactly what I needed to stay centered and calm and still enjoy the day. I will be forever grateful for that.

Having these images are the proof of a day that was so well fought for. I had to postpone for so many years and I finally had my dream wedding. To have the photos of something that I fought so hard to accomplish means the world to me.

About a week after I got engaged, I went to a local Wedding Fair hoping to meet a few potential vendors, but little did I know, I would meet our future wedding (and life!!) photographer, Blythe, within the first 15 minutes of being there! I’m so lucky that she walked over and introduce herself, and I was immediately struck by her kindness and positive energy. I immediately felt a connection with her, and it didn’t take long for my husband and I to decide that she was the one!
Through our engagement shoot, a micro-COVID wedding shoot, and our larger wedding celebration, she has consistently wow-ed us with her beautiful photography. She was such a joy to work with - she truly listened to us and to what types of pictures we hoped to have. Additionally, she is SO kind, and we can tell she really cared about us - after we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, she sent us a gift - a instax Polaroid camera and film - that we continue to use to document all our memories!
Blythe invited us over after both the micro and large weddings, and showed us the pictures she took - we couldn’t believe how beautiful she made us look, and she did an amazing job of capturing the highlights of the ceremony and reception as well as almost everyone in our nearly 200 person wedding! When we received our wedding albums (we ordered multiple - one for our micro wedding, one for our wedding ceremony, and one for our reception) we wanted to cry tears of happiness. We are in the process of ordering some prints for a gallery wall, and can’t wait to display these in our living area forever.
Another important point to note: whenever we mentioned that Blythe was our photographer, all of our other vendors said something along the lines of “Blythe! We love her! She’s great!” - this just goes to show how strong Blythe’s reputation is in our area.
I can’t imagine having gone through the wedding process without Blythe - not only did she create amazing pictures for us to cherish forever, she was a constant source of support for us when we were struggling with postponement and rescheduling in the midst of covid. She is now our forever photographer and we couldn’t be luckier to have her. I would recommend her 100% and without reservation to any bride seeking a photographer who not only will take beautiful photographs, but also will create amazing memories.

Blythe is an amazing photographer. From the first conversation, she asked questions, provided examples, shared ideas, and offered suggestions to better understand what we liked most and dreamed for our engagement and wedding memories. She asked detailed questions about what we liked and didn't like in various photos. She expertly used this information to capture such amazing memories in the most amazing photographs we will enjoy for the rest of our lives.

Blythe is talented with her cameras, she can explain how she wants the setting for the picture, how everyone comes together while making sure we are comfortable. I admired how she learned about the style of pictures we enjoyed before she began capturing our wedding.

This is the easiest decision of your wedding planning process – choose Blythe! She captures the feeling and emotion behind every moment, so truly she doesn’t provide just pictures. She provides you the ability to capture a moment and a feeling and revisit it for years to come. When my husband and I saw our engagement photos, we were ecstatic. Blythe knew it was important to us to capture the beauty of Idaho and the nature, as well as our love, and she did exactly that. When we had to pivot quickly when COVID-19 hit, Blythe worked with us to attend our small wedding day in 2020 and our large wedding celebration in 2021. Which meant we got to work with her for two different events, get two wedding albums and two galleries! Our experience seeing our wedding album in 2020 was lovely – she planned some time for us to sit down, go through every page and picture, talk through them and plan our perfect album in a cozy and welcoming environment. When we went through our 2021 album, she planned a Zoom meeting as we had just moved away from Boise. She is so flexible and adaptable. And the photos speak for themselves. There are moments I didn’t know happened that she captured, and I’m so glad she did. It means more than words to have the images she provided us. I look back at them still, even our engagement photos, and think of how much our love has grown since that day. Blythe feels like an old friend to me – especially getting to work with for almost 2 years! She makes you feel like you are special and seen and important, no matter what you are asking or discussing. We drove about 1.5 hours away for our engagement shoot and honestly, one of my favorite parts was getting to know her in a more personal way on the drive there and back. I felt so comfortable having Blythe in the bridal suite and being there with my bridesmaids. I was actually a little heartbroken when I realized I wouldn’t work with her anymore, now that we received our second album, but I will make a reason to work with her again. LOVED my experience with her – and you will too, if you are lucky enough to work with her.

Getting to see all of our pictures put together in the wedding album format and not just pictures in a slideshow was wonderful! It became even more personal and felt like "ours." I think we've looked through our whole gallery... 4 times? And every time I just LOVE it. The first time I'm pretty sure I cried and all I could think was "this is EXACTLY what we wanted." Blythe instantly felt like a long-time friend. I loved that she was on top of the meetings and photo questions so I didn't have to think about it on top of everything else. Her fun but chill personality helped her fit right into our group and get some amazing photos without feeling like there was always a camera in my face. Anytime I hear someone is getting married, I tell them, "Just spend the money on a good photographer. It may be a shock initially but you will be so glad you invested in photos that you will love." I love seeing the personal touches of our photos. They fit us, our personalities, and what we valued most at our wedding. I'm so glad we chose Blythe. I think I'd have to say Blythe's attention to detail was exceptional. This includes all her questions for us beforehand to establish what we were looking for with our photos. We talked SO much and she incorporated all of the important aspects we wanted. She was so wonderful to work with.

My husband and I got married this summer in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While there was a lot of chaos and stress around the day I cannot thank Blythe enough for being a beacon of peace and comfort. She stayed calm and kept us updated with the changes she was making. She is so passionate about capturing your day, and you can’t help but feel that love.

We did an engagement session with Blythe as well which I highly recommend. My husband and I are both awkward in front of the camera and do not take many pictures. She made us feel very comfortable, and that was reflected in our photos.

The day of our wedding was a whirlwind and I felt like I missed everything! We were so antsy and excited when we got to sit down with Blythe and see all of our photos for the first time and create our beautiful album. Every moment of our wedding was beautifully captured so that we can relive it forever. It brought me to tears seeing our photos and our families reactions we never got to see. After viewing our images she showed us album layouts where we were able to alter any pages we wanted. Blythe also has sample albums and fabric swatches that allow you to see first hand what your options are to build your perfect album.

Even with the COVID delays our album came pretty quick. While I’m a very emotional person, my husband typically is not. Both of us were tearing up looking through our wedding album. All of the stress and chaos leading up to the day just melted away and we were just focused on each other. I cannot thank Blythe enough for how beautiful our images are and the story they capture. I love looking at our photos knowing that they are ours. We aren’t over edited or retouched, she just captured our love in all its essence.

Blythe is just an amazing woman, and an amazing photographer. She is worth every penny, I can promise you that.

When I saw our wedding pictures for the first time I was elated. The experience of exploring the gallery was delightful. As a participant in the wedding, it was such a gift to see the moments we could not directly observe. In many ways, the gallery experience was like finding hidden treasure!

Having genuine, warm photos that represent one of the happiest days of our lives is a gift beyond measure. The photos of our wedding captured the essence of our joy and the beauty of the Northwest.

We knew we wanted to work with Blythe because of the authenticity and warmth exuded in her photos. What we did not realize was how wonderful and easy she would make the experience throughout the engagement as well as the day of the wedding. It was so much fun to try new and different photo styles. Blythe is intentional from the moment you first meet and do the intake session to the follow through with the gallery of photos. I (Kristen) have been in a lot of weddings, but none where I laughed so often and easily with the photographer. I believe we got the best pictures possible of our wedding because of Blythe’s approach and intentionality.

Her flexibility with the day – not knowing what family would want or ask – was a blessing and reduced stress. Her thoughtfulness in connecting with family and friends ahead of time and following up with personal notes and photos afterward. Because of her intentionality, I would say she could reduce the generous gifts she gave us and save herself the cost. It was her approach and manner that was the most meaningful to our positive experience working with her.

We used Blythe for our wedding and engagement photos. We could not be more thrilled with the service, and the work she did. We can't say enough great things about her! I would highly recommend. The photos turned out amazing.
