The best wedding venue ever! Thanks to Janna and her team, everything came together so perfectly and went smoothly on our wedding day. The Bluegrass Wedding Barn team brought our wedding vision to life. Planning was so easy and stress free considering we were planning our wedding from a distance and moved states in the middle of the process. It was absolutely magical to walk in to the venue on our wedding day and have everything already set up. Our friends and family were able to just come, celebrate, and enjoy the wedding with us instead of worrying about setting things up and tearing things down at the end of the night. I absolutely recommend the Bluegrass Wedding Barn. They are the perfect wedding venue for anyone who wants a stress free wedding day in the gorgeous Kentucky countryside!

Everything from the views, pastures and horses to the sparkling chandeliers along the entire length of the huge barn. I was there for a May wedding outdoors next to the pond and it was beautiful to see the bride and groom under the archway with the fountain behind. Inside decorations and table settings were stunning. Managers and staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. The whole day was heavenly.

We got so many compliments for this venue. Janna helped us get all our vendors and truly made the whole process so easy. We had a stress free wedding day that was everything we dreamed of. All around amazing venue and people.

Since our wedding, I have recommended the BWB to anyone that will listen! I am so deeply happy with this choice of venue… but it’s so much more than a venue! The assistance, guidance, tips, tricks, and hands-on care that we got with this staff was just irreplaceable. The BWB team has so much experience and personal inventory that they can make happen anything you want.

Leading up to the wedding ::::: For a little background, my husband and I were a long distance couple and neither of us lived near the BWB. Because of this, wedding planning was initially so intimidating. We were in over our heads and didn’t know where to start, until we met Janna. She guided us with easy-to-follow steps, and she always seemed to check in right when we needed a little motivation to keep the ball rolling. Any decision that needed to be made where we truly had no preference or no idea, Janna was able to give a simple “A, B, or C” choice and made the items of lesser importance get checked off quickly so we could move on to the things we really needed to discuss. She LISTENED to what we genuinely wanted. Based on the types of questions she asked us, I know that the comfort level and needs of any couple are really catered to at an individual level. She recognized what truly were our priorities vs. what we couldn’t give two flips about, and she was always prepared to tackle those choices, either way. She was mindful of our budget and helped us stay on track with the budget as well. We never felt forced into agreeing to any “extras.” Truthfully, once we were nearing our budget if there were any extras that we did inquire about, it was Janna that reminded us about the budget and proposed other places we could save to make things happen. My husband and I both led very busy lives and I can’t imagine how much we would have procrastinated wedding planning if we hadn’t had Janna to help us with the daunting check lists.

Wedding Day ::::: Even if you think you’re large and in charge, on your wedding day you are so overwhelmed with love and excitement that you need someone else to take the wheel. The BWB team did an excellent job at keeping us on track without making me feel like I was being pressured in any way. Nobody ever whisked me away and forced me in any direction, but they also provided gentle reminders to make sure we knew what the next step was when it needed to happen (time to cut cake, don’t forget to sign the marriage license but finish dancing first!, sunset is here if you want pictures, last song is coming, etc. etc.). Like I said, this team is experienced with pretty much anything that could happen for a wedding. Most of the team were folks like Steve working subtly in the background, and I know they were the ones that kept everything so smooth. (Steve even appeared with horse treats for a photo op when he saw us taking interest in their horse on sight. Little details that add big smiles!)

The only thing that went wrong on our wedding day was my own fault. (My Momma and I ripped the back of my wedding dress putting it on, hahaha!) But even then, before I had time to realize what had just happened, Janna was busting out a sewing kit with multiple shades of thread to get me rolling again. If anything else did go wrong on the day, my husband and I had no idea. Which is EXACTLY how it should be! All we had to do was show up and celebrate!

My family never needed to lift a finger on wedding day. My Momma’s only concern was the dance floor, which is all I could have hoped for. I really believe that the BWB gave us the least stressful experience that we could have had, despite us having an elaborate 150 guest wedding! I can’t overstate how helpful the team was during the day. They were background characters that led the show! Every need was met, and they went above and beyond with keeping us happy.

All of this doesn’t even touch how kind this group of people were. They were the warm, welcoming type of personalities that you can only hope to find when planning your wedding. Thank you to the BWB Team for making our day so incredible. Everything was beautiful!

Your attention to detail, coordination and full service on the day of the wedding was amazing not to mention your beautiful venue that guests are still raving about. Your business is top notch because you put the bride, groom and families first, allowing everyone to enjoy a stress free celebration. Your communication throughout the planning process was exceptional. I truly did not worry about a thing, knowing if there was any glitch, we could come to you for answers. You even packaged everything up and made the end of the night that much easier. Jana and her staff were top notch! So helpful with every question we had and we didn't have to stress over anything! Set up was beautiful and not having to do any of the cleanup was priceless. We showed up with all of our things, and they did the rest. Everything went smoothly and the grounds and facility was absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend The Bluegrass Wedding Barn!

Bluegrass Wedding Barn and their team helped our day go off perfectly! We could not have picked a more beautiful venue. Janna and the staff are incredible and helped us pull the day off without a hitch. They made sure everything was covered, including putting your mind at ease, always being a phone call away, picking the perfect details, and helping to set up/take down the event so you could enjoy it all with your family. We had the most amazing experience with the Bluegrass Wedding Barn! Everything was great from the moment we inquired with them through to the end of our wedding day! Janna was absolutely amazing. She helped us plan and she made sure everything we wanted happened! Honestly I cannot say enough good things about this incredible venue and staff. We faced a lot of obstacles in 2020 trying to plan our wedding and Janna made sure we were still able to experience everything we dreamed of!

I am so happy I chose the BWB for my wedding. My wedding was supposed to be in June, but due to COVID I had to postpone. Janna took care of rescheduling everything and coordinated with all my vendors to help determine a new date. The new day went great. The venue was beautiful and didn't require much decoration. I was able to rent anything I needed from the venue. If anything went wrong that day, I didn't know because they took care of everything. Would highly recommend.
