The best wedding venue ever! Thanks to Janna and her team, everything came together so perfectly and went smoothly on our wedding day. The Bluegrass Wedding Barn team brought our wedding vision to life. Planning was so easy and stress free considering we were planning our wedding from a distance and moved states in the middle of the process. It was absolutely magical to walk in to the venue on our wedding day and have everything already set up. Our friends and family were able to just come, celebrate, and enjoy the wedding with us instead of worrying about setting things up and tearing things down at the end of the night. I absolutely recommend the Bluegrass Wedding Barn. They are the perfect wedding venue for anyone who wants a stress free wedding day in the gorgeous Kentucky countryside! -

Everything from the views, pastures and horses to the sparkling chandeliers along the entire length of the huge barn. I was there for a May wedding outdoors next to the pond and it was beautiful to see the bride and groom under the archway with the fountain behind. Inside decorations and table settings were stunning. Managers and staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. The whole day was heavenly. -

Since our wedding, I have recommended the BWB to anyone that will listen! I am so deeply happy with this choice of venue… but it’s so much more than a venue! The assistance, guidance, tips, tricks, and hands-on care that we got with this staff was just irreplaceable. The BWB team has so much experience and personal inventory that they can make happen anything you want.
Leading up to the wedding ::::: For a little background, my husband and I were a long distance couple and neither of us lived near the BWB. Because of this, wedding planning was initially so intimidating. We were in over our heads and didn’t know where to start, until we met Janna. She guided us with easy-to-follow steps, and she always seemed to check in right when we needed a little motivation to keep the ball rolling. Any decision that needed to be made where we truly had no preference or no idea, Janna was able to give a simple “A, B, or C” choice and made the items of lesser importance get checked off quickly so we could move on to the things we really needed to discuss. She LISTENED to what we genuinely wanted. Based on the types of questions she asked us, I know that the comfort level and needs of any couple are really catered to at an individual level. She recognized what truly were our priorities vs. what we couldn’t give two flips about, and she was always prepared to tackle those choices, either way. She was mindful of our budget and helped us stay on track with the budget as well. We never felt forced into agreeing to any “extras.” Truthfully, once we were nearing our budget if there were any extras that we did inquire about, it was Janna that reminded us about the budget and proposed other places we could save to make things happen. My husband and I both led very busy lives and I can’t imagine how much we would have procrastinated wedding planning if we hadn’t had Janna to help us with the daunting check lists.
Wedding Day ::::: Even if you think you’re large and in charge, on your wedding day you are so overwhelmed with love and excitement that you need someone else to take the wheel. The BWB team did an excellent job at keeping us on track without making me feel like I was being pressured in any way. Nobody ever whisked me away and forced me in any direction, but they also provided gentle reminders to make sure we knew what the next step was when it needed to happen (time to cut cake, don’t forget to sign the marriage license but finish dancing first!, sunset is here if you want pictures, last song is coming, etc. etc.). Like I said, this team is experienced with pretty much anything that could happen for a wedding. Most of the team were folks like Steve working subtly in the background, and I know they were the ones that kept everything so smooth. (Steve even appeared with horse treats for a photo op when he saw us taking interest in their horse on sight. Little details that add big smiles!)
The only thing that went wrong on our wedding day was my own fault. (My Momma and I ripped the back of my wedding dress putting it on, hahaha!) But even then, before I had time to realize what had just happened, Janna was busting out a sewing kit with multiple shades of thread to get me rolling again. If anything else did go wrong on the day, my husband and I had no idea. Which is EXACTLY how it should be! All we had to do was show up and celebrate!
My family never needed to lift a finger on wedding day. My Momma’s only concern was the dance floor, which is all I could have hoped for. I really believe that the BWB gave us the least stressful experience that we could have had, despite us having an elaborate 150 guest wedding! I can’t overstate how helpful the team was during the day. They were background characters that led the show! Every need was met, and they went above and beyond with keeping us happy.
All of this doesn’t even touch how kind this group of people were. They were the warm, welcoming type of personalities that you can only hope to find when planning your wedding. Thank you to the BWB Team for making our day so incredible. Everything was beautiful! -

We had the most amazing experience with the Bluegrass Wedding Barn! Everything was great from the moment we inquired with them through to the end of our wedding day! Janna was absolutely amazing. She helped us plan and she made sure everything we wanted happened! Honestly I cannot say enough good things about this incredible venue and staff. We faced a lot of obstacles in 2020 trying to plan our wedding and Janna made sure we were still able to experience everything we dreamed of! -

I am so happy I chose the BWB for my wedding. My wedding was supposed to be in June, but due to COVID I had to postpone. Janna took care of rescheduling everything and coordinated with all my vendors to help determine a new date. The new day went great. The venue was beautiful and didn't require much decoration. I was able to rent anything I needed from the venue. If anything went wrong that day, I didn't know because they took care of everything. Would highly recommend. -

4 weeks later and I still don't have the words to describe how AMAZING Janna and her staff at The Bluegrass Wedding Barn are. Janna made sure EVERY SINGLE detail was planned out and taken care of before the ceremony. She seamlessly coordinated the day of and set up all our decor. All I had to do the day of my wedding was show up and take it all in. The Bluegrass Wedding Barn is a beautiful venue with outstanding staff. -

The Best Wedding Venue Ever
The Bluegrass Wedding Barn is amazing. Janna and her team are awesome and they know exactly how to make sure your big day is perfect! We had so many obstacles due to COVID, but they made it so easy. I wish we could spend every weekend there! The venue is gorgeous and it is everything you could ever dream of and more! The BWB team will take care of you and they are truly happy for each couple and it shows. They are warm and welcoming every time you see them. We would definitely recommend couples to have their big day here! -

Janna and her staff at the Bluegrass Wedding Barn were absolutely phenomenal! Our wedding was Game of Thrones theme and I felt like Janna was the hand of the king. She helped guide us ans took the stress off of me on the big day! All of my guests bragged about how organized, smooth, and well planned everything was! Janna took care of everything, even small hiccups that happened before the ceremony and made sure no one noticed, including me, the bride! Janna has such a high level of professionalism! The landscape is beautiful too and my guests loved taking pictures on the grounds! They also cleaned up everything so I could enjoy my wedding day! Definitely recommend! -

The venue is absolutely gorgeous! The option for the inside ceremony is just as pretty as well if it rains. Janna, the owner is super helpful. She keeps everything organized and she makes sure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day. She helps you choose your vendors to make sure they are reliable and of good quality. She also contacts all of your vendors to give them all the information they need for your big day. She was so much help, especially as time got closer and the craziness of the wedding started to set in. She sets up your decor beautifully for you and takes it all down so you and your family can enjoy the special day. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the owner. I am SO SO happy I choose Bluegrass Wedding Barn as my venue. My wedding day was perfect! -

Absolutely Perfect!!
I highly recommend Bluegrass Wedding Barn. I couldn't have imagined having my wedding any where else. Janna and her staff were excellent. From the three planning meetings to the day of, everything was stress free and she made sure the day went exactly as we wanted. I snuck away at sunset to have some pictures taken and ended up standing in the pond, and as we are coming back up the hill Janna was greeting us with towels to dry off. She went above and beyond all expectations and made sure everything thing ran smoothly. -

Wonderful Experience!
Our day was absolutely perfect, thanks to Janna and her family! From planning meetings, late night texts, constant guest list changes, rain, and set up/take down, Janna did it all with a smile on her face! You truly will not have anything to worry about or do on your big day! The venue is absolutely stunning inside the barn and out. There are several options on site where you will choose to tie the knot. We chose the hilltop, which was absolutely gorgeous, even in the misty rain! There were A LOT of upgrades and surprises which were so exciting for us including air conditioning, huge glass doors at the front and back of the barn, and a brand new amazing Groom’s room, just to name a few. My only wish would be that our reception could’ve gone a little later than 10:00. We just had so much fun! You can’t go wrong with Bluegrass Wedding Barn especially for the price, but most importantly the amount of love you feel at this special place! -

My wedding day was a F A I R Y T A L E. I did not have a single care in the world, Janna handled EVERYTHING. I literally came to the venue, put on my wedding dress, and got married. It was genuinely the most perfect day. Janna is amazing to work with. She is so organized, experienced, and has so much helpful information for wedding planning. She is there with you through every step of the process, she gets back to you quickly if you have questions or concerns, and she is SO knowledgeable about the whole process. I am so glad we made the choice to have our wedding at BWB. I hear so many brides stressing over things I didn't even know I had to worry about because it was all already taken care of through the venue. You definitely will not regret your choice going with Janna and the BWB. It's SO beautiful and it's STRESS FREE. -

"Above and Beyond" does not even begin to describe the experience we had working with Janna. She is truly a master at her craft, has great connections, suggestions, and best of all is patient, calm, and kind. Janna helped us take the disparate things that were important to us and make them into a beautiful, cohesive, fun, and meaningful event. We cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and brilliant suggestions. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts! Go check out this stress free all inclusive venue. The price was 100 percent worth it for not having to rent chairs, tables, sound equipment, bathrooms, a tent, etc, and of course for Janna's expertise! -

The Bluegrass Wedding Barn
The Bluegrass Wedding Barn is stunning! The barn is rustic and elegant, and the view from the hill top is breathtaking. Janna was our ‘day of coordinator’ and she was wonderful!! Myself, my husband, and my parents had a stress free day and everything ran so smoothly! This venue really brought our dream wedding together and the best part is that they continue to update and continuously make the venue even better! -

Janna was a godsend for us as we simultaneously planned a wedding and juggled busy jobs and personal lives. She was extraordinarily responsive and top of everything. After selecting our vendors, Janna would work with them to arrange the details for the day of the wedding. She, along with the rest of the staff, made our wedding day the most special and wonderfully perfect day of our lives.

Hiring Janna as the coordinator was one of the best decisions ever... she made the day stress-free and my husband and I were able to truly enjoy our daughter’s wedding. It was a perfect day and both my daughter and new son in law for days after kept saying they wish they could relive that day one more time! Thanks to Janna and her whole team for making my daughters wedding day PERFECT!

She is very easy to talk to and wants your day to be perfect as much as you. The only down side is there is no AC so it was a bit too warm at the start of our wedding but cooled off a lot after sunset. -

The BWB took away all my stress and worries and hosted the most flawless wedding ever in the most professional way. The barn itself is long enough to accommodate for a ceremony and reception if it happens to rain on your big day--which it did for me! Janna and her staff were amazing at pulling everything together. And with the rain, it made for some beautiful pictures!
They also recently renovated the bridal room and restrooms (yes, indoor and NICE restrooms at a barn!).
Bluegrass Wedding Barn was everything I hoped it would be and more! -

Janna, her husband, and her staff truly made us feel like part of their family and went above and beyond to make our day as wonderful as it was. We had several meetings with Janna throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and she was just a phone call or a text away to answer all of my questions. She recommended her favorite local vendors to help keep us within our budget and gave us a lot of great advice about everything from decorations to set up. This gorgeous venue is well worth the drive from the bigger metro Kentucky cities, even for your guests traveling from other states. The views are breathtaking and the barn is spectacular! My husband and I are SO thankful that we had the BWB staff work so hard to make our day perfect and highly recommend this beautiful venue to everyone! -

We hired Janna to be the day of coordinator as well and it made the day so enjoyable for myself, our families, and our wedding party. We had a beautiful stress-free wedding day
We had a great experience working with the BWB staff. They were friendly, professional, organized and everything looked absolutely beautiful. All of our guests were complimenting the venue and all the decorations. We were pleased with how gracefully the day flowed knowing things were being taken care of. The only negative thing I would say about our experience was it felt like some of the decisions such as timeline, decor, and vendors that were part of our planning we had to really fight for in order to get things how we envisioned. We felt like we were constantly negotiating things that should have been easily accommodated. Overall, I would highly recommend this for a beautiful wedding experience! -
