Belinda and Stacey from Blue Gardenia Events helped my husband and I experience the happiest day ever. We were an out-of-town couple who had connected with most of our vendors on our own, but feeling the stress of not having someone local be responsible for any wrangling of things or people in the week before the wedding. We were also upfront that we were incorporating several cultural elements to our wedding, including a zaffe, a dabke group, and a candlestick dance, on top of the usual logistics of a wedding and special ceremonies like a second line. And when I was struggling to find a local dabke group I was really touched that Belinda worked to see within her network of vendors who could possibly step up to make it happen for us. I was able to find a dabke group that worked so well for us (Jafra Dabke from Seattle), and both Belinda and Stacey worked so well with them, not having organized a wedding like this before. They also brought in their wonderful Bridal Concierge Gwen, who helped affix a poppy to my hair and my husband's suit, and made sure my dress was taken care of.

As I mentioned, I experienced the most happiest day. I was completely naive to any hiccups, never felt as though there was a late transition or anything wrong whatsoever. We have been experiencing many months of grief and sadness amongst the family due to the genocide in Gaza, and I felt I was able to really immerse in the love of my most treasured friends and family. I credit much of this ability to escape to Stacey's marvelous handling of our wedding. My mother is incredibly detail-oriented, and she was SO impressed with Stacey.

I learned later that we had some drama around props for the candlestick dance being broken, and Belinda saved the day. I am very much a 'go with the flow' personality when it comes to wedding day, but there were many family members who were brooding over these broken candlesticks (which are at least 20" tall for clarity). Belinda was very creative in fixing them, and coming up with a plan. They were more beautiful than I could have anticipated, and made for a very lovely and enchanting tradition.

I felt so taken care of, and I also felt like I made some new friends that day. It was really special, and all of our guests had the best time. It was important to me that my family and friends felt taken care of, and they were. I couldn't recommend Blue Gardenia Events enough.

She connected us with the right people to do all the things we wanted for our wedding, had an amazing design proposal for us, and listened to any questions or concerns we might have had.

We signed up for the package that allowed us to work with her from beginning to end, and I am SO SO glad we did that instead of the final 6 weeks. There is NO way our wedding would have been the amazing night it was without her.

When we saw our venue after the ceremony and after the Second Line (when we could really look around!) it was magical - I have no words to accurately describe how she took what we wanted and turned Maison Montegut into an absolutely stunning courtyard. Not to mention they flipped the whole courtyard in about 30 minutes while we Second Lined! The whole place - courtyard and upstairs - was glowing. Everyone had such a good time, no detail was left unturned, and everything was so well executed. Belinda and her team go above and beyond to ensure your day is exactly what you want it to be.

I cannot recommend Belinda from Blue Gardenia Events enough! First off we’re from Canada so planning a wedding, let alone a destination wedding is tricky business. From the first phone call all the way to the night of the wedding Belinda made sure that our vision came to life. Belinda was able to really listen to what we wanted, made suggestions when it was needed, got excited along with us as we threw out-of-the-box ideas and made dreams a possibility. Having a creative background, I was pleasantly surprised at how talented Belinda was visually and artistically. She really takes each wedding with great pride and enthusiasm and without asking made details that added just that extra touch. Thank you so much for those handmade dessert signs that mimicked mine!! It was a fun experience to brainstorm ideas about the look and feel of the venue and I completely trusted her judgment calls. Her vendor suggestions were on point as she rocked out a great team for us!

What is special about Belinda is that she is so personable and sweet! But at the same time, she is so well organized and on top of everything, which made planning for us back in Canada easy-peasy. Belinda even took me to all my makeup and hair trials and acted as a friend. Giving me suggestions and having a critical eye when it was called for.
