I had a beautiful wedding and reception at the Bloomington Country Club. Their event staff took care of everything I needed and didn't bother me at all with problems during the day of the wedding. The Event Coordinator was responsive, friendly and exceedingly helpful; it was also one of the most reasonably priced venues in Bloomington! I would highly recommend using the BCC for your ceremony and reception - they were awesome!

This was WONDERFUL. I would highly recommend this site. Jose was extremely responsive to our needs, the food was outstanding, and the building itself is absolutely beautifuly. If you visit, I'd be shocked if you didn't book this site :)

Horrible food at wedding! I used this place for my wedding ceremony and reception. I would not recommend them. The country club was beautiful and had a wonder spot for both outdoors and indoor weddings. That was the only aspect we were pleased with. On more than one occasion our scheduled meetings about our wedding were completely forgotten and we had to reschedule, wasting our time. On the day of our wedding they got 3 out of the 4 food items wrong. This included not following one of their own recipes for an entree correctly and includign an ingredient which myself and several of my guest were allergic to! It was embarrassing and offensive and made apparent because I had prepared menus which dictated to all our guests what should have been served ( in contrast to what appeared on their table) . It took around 2 months to negotiate an acceptable refund. Bottom line, we paid a lot of money for the food and it was not what we had agreed upon during our tastings. The servers were also rude to some of our guests and took food off the table before people were finished eating. The also botched the wine and served sparkling cider to some guests for our champagne toasts accidently. Thinking of having your wedding here? Think again...The club is beautiful but its not worth having the other aspects of your evening ruined by someone's incompetence.
