As someone who loathes the light and airy look, I adored working with Lori and Paul to bring my wedding photo dreams to life. They were incredible for both engagement pics and wedding day! Also a great value with alll that is offered in the packages!

Had an amazing experience with Lori! We were from out of town, and Lori was so easy to work with and responsive to emails. And, most importantly, our photos were amazing! She has such a great eye, gave us great instruction (which we needed), and made us look like models! Would highly recommend her!

When the day is over your photos will be a huge piece that allows you a full memory of the day. We are so happy that we were able to have Black White and Raw Photography be part of our wedding day. Lori and Paul are professional, easy to work with, funny, creative and even though they had not photographed at our zoo location before - they did an amazing job of taking full advantage of our location as if they had been there a million times before. We wanted someone to be silly with us and help us laugh in front of the camera - they did. They were amazing - and all the photos we received (pretty quickly I may add) exceeded our expectations. So glad we trusted our day to Lori and Paul and can’t wait to find more reasons to work with them again in the future. We love our photos and my only challenge is trying to figure out which are my favorites from so many perfect moments.

We used Lori & Paul for our engagement shoot and I could not be happier with how the photographs came out. They pay so much attention to detail, help guide with poses, and add their wonderful taste/aesthetics to every shoot. I tend to be a little "too much" at times and I feel as though they captured us as our true selves and everything came out perfectly. We will be using their services for our wedding in October and other events in the future. I absolutely recommend them, they're definitely worth it.

We are in love with our wedding album from Black White and Raw Photography! I originally found their work through Offbeat Bride and was so excited to see that they served the Philly area. We wanted photography that could capture romantic elegance combined with our quirky style. Lori and Paul were really good at listening to our vision and after my first phone conversation I felt understood and reassured that the process would be easy-going, but also detail-oriented. Lori and Paul met us for the first time to take our engagement photos which we also loved!

On the day of the wedding they were both really flexible and Lori was really great about taking time to incorporate a mini-boudoir photo shoot as I was getting ready for the day and made me feel so comfortable with the process. Those images are sexy and timeless and my husband loves them! Lori and Paul made it through a very long wedding day with multiple locations with us. They were relaxed and attentive through an eleven hour day! All of our guests commented how present Lori and Paul were to all the details and moments happening, while remaining unobtrusive. Our final album is absolutely stunning! Our images are beautiful, romantic, and full of life, fun, emotion, and movement! we have so many images of our guests celebrating and I'm so grateful to have those images captured.

Lori and Paul were able to capture my husband and my personalities as well as different sides of each other that we don't normally see! Lori and Paul are so creative and talented! Don't hesitate to work with Black White and Raw for your wedding or any other photos! We can't say enough how happy and thankful we are at the beautiful job they did capturing our day!

Lori is an amazing photographer. I adore our wedding photos and we have received so many compliments! She is great at listening to ideas and giving direction. Our pictures are awesome. Lori was on time and we received our photos back quickly. She is amazing to work with, I feel lucky to have had a chance to work with her. I can honestly say she made my day. The wedding exceeded my expectations and it's because of her. I had so much fun. You will not be disappointed if you work with her, impressive!

I dont even know where to start - If I could give Lori and Paul 10 stars I would. From the moment we met Lori and Paul we didn't look any further. Once we contacted BWR, we set up a meeting to get to know each other. They showed up with a notebook and took tons of notes as they got to know us and understand our vision. Right there, we knew that they really take pride in their work. We booked them the next day and never looked back. We had them do our engagement and wedding pictures and couldn't be happier. When it was slated to rain later in the day of our engagement shoots, they were very flexible in coming out earlier in the day before the rain. When it actually did rain on the wedding day, their ability to envision beautiful photos did not disappoint. They knew exactly what pictures to take and where to take them (while raining) that I literally didn't even care it was raining! When we got our sneak peak of photos, I was in awe. They really have an amazing talent and we are extremely happy that we used them. Also, everyone is our wedding party loved them as they are very down to earth, flexible, and have fun while doing their job. I would recommend Lori and Paul over and over again!!

Lori and Paul were fantastic to work with! Our wedding was in Round Hill, VA and they had no issues travelling to us for the big day. They were easy to communicate with and promptly responded to emails before and after the wedding. It was the coldest windiest day in a 2 month period, but Lori and Paul made it look like a gorgeous fall day. The photos were stunning and Lori was able to make a dark, dingy room look like a bright, elegant bridal suite. My husband and I didn't want super sappy, awkwardly posed photos and we are so happy with what we got. The poses looked natural and still beautiful. Lori and Paul were flexible and had no problem when we asked them to stay for an extra hour. They were able to make a popcorn exit look glamorous!

Black White & Raw (Lori and Paul) did both engagement and wedding photos for us, and both experiences were outstanding. In addition to taking beautiful photos, they were friendly, responsive, flexible, professional, willing to travel, and clearly enthusiastic about working with us. While we were looking for photographers who would make us look our best (and Lori and Paul upped the ante for what our best can be!), what we wanted most of all was photographers who would take great pictures of the people we love all celebrating together. Lori and Paul delivered there too: the photos capture how much fun we have together and with all the people in our lives; it is an absolute joy to look at them and remember all of the laughter and love happening while they were being taken.

The images from our wedding are more that we had ever hoped for. They are artistic, yet fun and capture all the moments that we so special to us. Lori was awesome to work with. She completely understood what was important to us, and even made our boys feel so special. We can not wait to work with them again!
