Experience
Owners and couple Larry and Debbie have a combined 60 years of experience in the industry. In high school, Larry worked as manager at a local tuxedo shop and opened his own store when he was 18 while attending college in Indiana. Debbie managed a retail store in high school, earned her bachelor's degree in marketing and merchandising, and continues as a buyer for a large department store. She eventually joined Larry in the wedding industry. They owned and operated 22 stores, including bridal, tuxedo, and dry cleaning stores, and a wedding planning business in the midwest, before opening Black Tie Tuxedos in Florida in 1996. Their youngest Daughter Jessica, joined the business after graduating with her Bachelors degree from USF. She is continuing to grow the family legacy.
