Black Tie Affairs Catering is a full service catering company that has been serving the city of San Antonio since 1985. Each of our events is a unique experience put together by our creative staff to suit the needs of our clients.
We provide great food, meticulous attention to detail, wonderful decorations and personalized service. We are licensed by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and are able to meet all of your needs. Black Tie Affairs Catering will take the worry out of planning your event. Our staff visits with each client to discuss menu ideas and expectations. We will then recommend menus that meet those expectations and are within his or her budget.
We are an approved caterer at most venues in San Antonio. We often cater The Southwest School of Art and Craft, the Witte Museum, the San Antonio Garden Center, the San Antonio Art Museum, the International Center, Institute of Texan Culture, Celebration Square and La Villita.

Wonderful service!
Amazing service! Noe and his team are great. The food was delicious and all of our guest really enjoyed it. From our appetizers, to dinner, everything tasted so good! The food they served at our wedding was very fresh and authentic it definitely exceeded our expectations. The way they presented the food and decorated the buffet tables was very detailed. Definitely recommend them for any event, big or small!

We used BTA for a birthday party and planned a month in advance. They were very helpful throughout the whole process sending us menus and printed out proposals for our own records. They showed up on time and prepared setting up quickly and professionally. We ordered appetizers and a full prime rib dinner with smoked turkey for the entree. It was amazing! There wasn't one unhappy person out of 60-70 people. They had the food ready at the planned times and were very professional. The layout was beautiful and they set everything up perfectly. After the dinner was over they collected all of the trash and didn't leave a single piece. It was such a great party and couldn't have done it without their service. I highly recommend using black tie affair for your next event. I know I will be using them again!

If you want delicious food and great service, hire Black Tie as your caterer! Our guests raved about the great selection of food and how tasty everything was. My husband and I are glad we hired them because of the variety of food they served and how much they served; no one left hungry. The staff was very flexible and accommodating to what we wanted; vegetarian options for some guests, and even though the corn-on-the-cob bar they planned was great, we decided it was too messy. They easily changed it to a mashed potato bar, original and sweet potato with all the toppings. They even paid attention to the finer details. We not only paid for the food and servers, but also plates, silverware, table linens, bartenders, and cocktail tables.
