If I were to single out one factor that enhanced and elevated the beauty of our wedding, it would be the incredible flower package created by Black Floral Iris Designs. Rachael approached every meeting, text, and the actual day with enthusiasm, creativity, knowledge, and professionalism, oh and fun – SO much fun! I knew I wanted colorful wild flowers and something that was more flowy and natural, but that was it. I didn’t know about flowers and what would look good together or what sort of designs or accents I wanted, but Rachael did, and she ran with it! We met and discussed everything, and then she put together a proposal with a vision board of the types of flowers and colors she would use so that I could start to see it come to life. I’m awful at envisioning things, and this was so helpful and exciting to see! But it didn’t even compare to the set up when we arrived at the venue. Everywhere we turned, there were either large, gorgeous statement pieces or beautiful details to look at. I was in awe and will forever be singing Rachael’s praises! All of our guests were blown away, and it maybe got a little competitive when we gave away our centerpieces as everyone wanted to take them home!

My husband and I attended a wedding in York, Maine this summer where Black Iris Floral Designs created the floral arrangements. Not only were the bride/bridesmaid's bouquets gorgeous, but the flowers used during the ceremony, as well as the table centerpieces at the reception, were also incredibly well done. My husband and I came to Black Iris Floral unexpected and ordered a wedding bouquet from them to be made the next week, they got right to work! Although their shop isn't really customer ready, they were able to accomdate and make sure our requests were heard. Of course I only knew what I wanted because of Pinterest, so I showed the floral designer what I had in mind. I was skeptical on how it would turn out, but it ended up looking exactly like what I wanted, but even more beautiful! Definitely recommend them if you are looking for something very specific, they know their flowers!
