Working with Emalee was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process, and her designs are a huge part of what made our day so memorable. Aside from being super easy to work with -- from the start with a detailed proposal, great communication throughout, and adaptable to our preferences and budget -- she is also beyond talented. I love that she works with in-season-only florals, fruit and veg, and also incorporates foraged elements, making for truly unique designs -- wild and timeless.

I'm a firm believer in hiring talented people and getting out of their way, and working with Emalee was the epitome of that experience. We discussed my vision of non-traditional fruit and veg centerpieces, and she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable that I immediately trusted her to run with it. She also suggested additional decor based off of that initial conversation. When I saw everything come together the day of the wedding, she totally captured my vision and then some. I don't have pics (yet), but the foraged greenery and wild grass arrangement on the venue's staircase was strikingly beautiful, the specifics of which I would never have thought of myself.

I feel so lucky we got to work with her for our wedding, and though I don't usually plan events, hope to experience her work again in the future.

I've known Emalee for years, and discovered Bird Seed Florals through Instagram just as she was just getting it started, which was around the same time Henderson and I were planning our engagement celebration at Hawk Point Pavilion, Susquehannock State Park. We knew we didn't want to use a traditional florist--we'd rather utilize the natural beauty of the park in our surroundings. However, Bird Seed Florals provided a different kind of natural beauty, one that had us completely aw struck and made the celebration really pop with elegance. Not only was Emalee easy to contact and work with, but she took her time to understand our interests and preferences and to scout out different types of flowers and flora leading up to our event to create the perfect harmony of unique beauty and earthy elegance to be showcased on our tables during our special day. She was on time for the set up and while she was fast and efficient, she was careful and focused as she put the installations together.
