I'm a scrapbooker so I didn't want to but an album from the photographer. Birch allowed us to buy a DVD with all the photos with the printing rights to them so I can print them where ever and when ever I please. They seem to have deals going on a lot, we were able to get an extra hour free with our package. Our photoghrapher was Ryan K. He was very professional but also a lot of fun. I would recommend him to anyone.

Birch Photographers basically contracts out independent photographers. We got lucky and got a photographer we ending up loving!

With that said, I would never again waste my time with Birch. They were hard to contact and took forever to return calls; that is if they actually returned the call. Their contract is brutal and we only stayed with them because we could not afford canceling and paying the $500 for nothing (even though this was a year from the wedding).

A week before the wedding I got a call telling me I had not purchased enough time. I informed the consultant that, the time we purchased was all we could afford. The NEXT day, I got another call telling me the photographer we had chosen didn't realize our wedding was on a boat... and is afraid of boats and won't do that wedding (hmmmm we told them it was on a boat a year prior). I felt it was very unprofessional and was a cop-out because we were not purchasing additional hours. We were given an extra hour for compensation.

I didn't post this review until after I received my photos. Though my photographer was great, they turn the photos over to Birch. With all of the issues we had I was worried that honestly... giving them a poor review would mean my photos would go missing or something equally as unprofessional.
