Big Red Barn Wedding

My husband & I recently hired Billy for our ceremony & cocktail entertainment. We know Billy from my sister in law who used his services at her wedding & we knew from there that when our time came that we would love to have him at ours. He was wonderful!! Our guests are still raving about him & he added the perfect touch to our rustic romantic outdoor barn wedding. We can’t thank him enough!

Billy played at my wedding in May. He was professional and has a wonderful voice. He even learned culturally themed music that was specific to our wedding. I highly recommend him for anyone who is looking for a talented, acoustic guitar player.

Billy was great! From coming to our rehearsal to working with us to coming up with a song list (many of which he learned), we couldn't have asked for more. The combined price for the cocktail hour and ceremony was a steal! Thanks, Billy!

Billy is an incredibly talented guitarist and very easy to work with. He offered suggestions for songs as well as input for what song would be appropriate when. We were impressed with Billy's willingness to learn several songs prior to our wedding, which made the experience unique and special to us. He even wore his best dress (slacks, button up, vest & tie) for our ceremony in June- it just so happened to be 95 degrees! Billy seemed to be having fun playing and even engaged our guests that approached him. We would highly recommend him!!

We first saw Billy about five years ago playing in Georgetown, DC. We were so impressed with his music that we got his information and saved it until this year when we hired him to play at a large engagement party for our niece. His music was the life of the party! He was professional, flexible and punctual. With his friendly, outgoing personality, he charmed the crowd. People are still talking about his music and how much fun it was! He knew every song we requested and so much more. Having him at the party brought a whole new level of energy and excitement to the night. It was an unforgettable party. It would not have been the same without Billy!

I contacted Billy for our elopement in Virginia because I saw he could play and sing Dave Matthews songs beautifully. When I first talked to him on the phone to discuss our plans I was sold, he is so personable and really wants to help make the vision you have for your wedding day perfect. He even played me the song I wanted over the phone to make sure he had it right. I loved how responsive he was to our needs since this was not a typical 'wedding day'. With it being just the two of us, Billy walked next to me on the grass strumming our processional song as I made my way down to meet my future husband under a tree overlooking Blenheim Vineyard. It was as picture perfect as it sounds. I love Billy and will recommend him to anyone getting married in VA!!

We had an intimate family wedding at the Inn at Willow Grove over the Thanksgiving weekend. We are not from the Charlottesville area so we had to rely heavily on recommendations. When I described the type of musician and feel I wanted at my wedding Billy's name immediately came up. Billy played for our cocktail hour and reception. Even though it was Thanksgiving weekend we were blessed with 70 degree temperatures which allowed us to have Billy perform on the lovely patio with our guests around the firepits. He provided a perfect fall night atmosphere. Many guests have commented on how much they enjoyed engaging with him, singing along and making requests. We could not have been happier with how our wedding celebration turned out!

Billy Caldwell provided music for a reception held the month after our daughter's out of state wedding. We had about a hundred people for this catered party. His music was appropriate and quite good. He played and sang with a volume such that one could carry on a normal conversation and still hear and appreciate the music. He arrived with plenty of time to setup and did play for the contracted time. All of us wished we had more to listen to the music. We certainly recommend him!

Just happened to find Billy Caldwell on an internet link. This event was a wedding party for about 125 people at our house and we needed some background music. Billy was very easy to work with, was accessible by telephone, asked the right questions and gave helpful advice. The music was great and we and our guests enjoyed him very much. He has a wide range of music and tailored to our event and age group. We'll definitely use Billy again in the future.

Billy will make your wedding! His talent is surpassed by no one. He pays great attention to your wedding guest and their requests. He picked out beautiful music for our wedding ceremony from the time I walked down the aisle till we were mand and wife he made our wedding so special. There wasn't a dry eye in the Inn where we were married! He made the reception so much fun and our guest all said that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever attended.
