Big Island Productions is a professional, full-service DJ company that promotes memories that last a lifetime while spreading a little aloha. Led by owner Joe Kerrigan, who handles all the weddings. Joe's passion, creativity and organization are second to none in the industry. He is a consummate professional with a laid back style that is enthusiastic without being obtrusive.

Joe employs a unique and personal, hands on approach with couples. He will help craft your specific sound for wedding day, assist with planning your timeline, help with important details and offer advice and suggestions if asked. Joe is more than a DJ when it comes to weddings, he also serves as a second wedding planner for you.

*If you are going to Hawaii for your honeymoon, Joe is the man to talk to because he is Mr. Hawaii!

Best money we spent!

We could not imagine our wedding without Joe. He was so helpful, and he went above and beyond to make our day special. He could not have done anything better! If you’re in search of a personable, genuine and professional Dj/MC, do yourself a favor and go with Joe. You will absolutely not regret it.

Professional and high quality music

When we first came across Big Island Productions, we were impressed by his many positive reviews. He did not disappoint! It was clear from our first call that he has a lot of knowledge and experience in the industry. We gave him our song selections and do not play list and he gave us helpful feedback on our choices. The music was seamless throughout the night, our dance floor was always full, the sound was great, and we got lots of compliments from guests. Joe is the best!

Big Island was a hit!

Joe was fantastic to work with! From the beginning Joe was very responsive and great to work with. We were also a 2020 wedding that was postponed twice. Through each postponement and scrambling to find new dates, Joe was responsive and very easy to work with. As we (finally) approached our big day, Joe did a great job of navigating us through what would work best for the celebration we wanted. He gave great advice and feedback and worked with our vision. Our guests had a great time thanks to Big Island Productions!

Not your average Joe!!

Joe was a great addition to our wedding day! He was very responsive from day one. He provided us with an organized list of what needed to be done in terms of music and provided input for our schedule of the day. He was patient with us throughout the entire process and even met with us prior to wedding day to review song choices and what we were looking for. The dance floor was non-stop and he made sure everyone was having fun!

Stellar Job

Joe did an awesome job from the first consultation until our wedding day. He was so patient with us, and gave us the time we needed to make all of our music decisions. He touched base multiple times leading up to the day which helped put my mind at ease. He made excellent suggestions for songs to be played during the ceremony and provided helpful information about timelines. The dance floor heated up SO early, and it was never empty once throughout the night. Joe is professional, affordable, personable, and super fun! Thank you so much Joe

Joe is Amazing!

Joe did an amazing job at our wedding from our first consultation all the way through wedding day. He nailed it! He provided us with many suggestions that were very helpful with our timeline, important dances and song choices. Overall, it was a great experience and we are very happy for hiring Joe for our wedding.

Perfect night with Joe

We knew immediately after meeting with Joe that he was going to be our DJ and he did not disappoint. He is friendly, knowledgeable, organized and is an expert at weddings. My wife and I had many special and usually requests and not only was he ready to jump in but gave us many helpful suggestions with them. Our wedding was amazing could not have done it without him.

Big Island Productions Rocked our Wedding

Joe Kerrigan from BIP was great to work with while planning the music for our wedding. We consulted multiple times throughout the process and he did everything he could to meet our needs and customize not only the music for our reception but also for the ceremony and events leading up to the reception. His experience and professionalism contributed to making our wedding day amazing! Everyone had a blast and even though it was an afternoon reception he had everyone up and dancing throughout. We would highly recommend Joe and BIP.
