I am writing this review wayyyy too late (over 2 years after my engagement photos were taken) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give Betsy all the love and praise she deserves. Betsy photographed our engagement photos and would have done our wedding as well if she wasn’t already booked. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Betsy previously and she was always so fun, easy to work with and matched my energy on every level! She gets so excited when she knows she is ‘getting the shot’ that you can’t help but get excited too. I had a very specific vision for our engagement photos and she was 100% on board to make it happen. I love the photos so much and will treasure them forever as they document a very exciting time in our lives. I absolutely love working with Betsy and will definitely be booking her again in the future!

Betsy was absolutely incredible with shooting our wedding! When I first called her in the beginning of my planning process I could tell right away how professional she was. She even educated me on so many things I had not thought about before speaking with her! Betsy had an organized excel sheet ready to go for me to input the long shot list we had hoped to capture on our lengthy wedding day. We had her booked for 11 hours and from start to finish she was so positive and energetic, and made sure the bride and groom were always taken care of. She kept up with our crazy schedule and constantly provided words of encouragement. Betsy was truly a delight to work with that I would be lucky to work with again in the future. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel supported and also to get the most vibrant photos! When we got our preview photos back we were in awe of her stunning work and cannot wait to see the rest of the album when she is done editing!

I found Betsy through Instagram and was immediately captured by her work and love of light. She stood out from thousands of other pictures and photographers' work. As soon as we had our first phone session, we knew that we wanted Betsy to capture every moment of our engagement and wedding. When we met her in person for our engagement shoot, we were blown away by her sweet and energetic character. She is truly one of a kind and makes you feel so special and comfortable in front of the camera. When we received the pictures (so timely) they were everything we dreamed of and more. After the engagement shoot, we knew we couldn't wait for her to capture our wedding weekend. Betsy set the tone for the entire wedding weekend starting with our rehearsal dinner/party. She made sure to show up early to the restaurant and capture every detail of the venue (scenery, favors, decor, etc.). She also spent time with just my husband and I getting very special portraits of the two of us ahead of the wedding the next day and even took some videos for me on my iPhone so I had content for Instagram (so thoughtful!) My entire family loved her and couldn't stop talking about her talent and sweet personality. For the wedding day, not only is Betsy incredibly talented and highly professional, but she is so responsive and easy to communicate with. We were given many opportunities to share and discuss what we wanted with Betsy ahead of time and she was really clear with times & schedules which made our preparation simple. Betsy made the whole experience so easy to enjoy. We had no worries on our day and were able to trust her with what we wanted captured. Not only did she do that but she went above and beyond our expectations. She was so positive, upbeat, vocal and directive. After receiving our sneak peak shots a couple days after the wedding we were absolutely stunned at how amazing every single photo was. Speechless. We're still looking back at our photos and are incredibly impressed with how every shot captures just how happy we were and our family was. Both Jimmy and I along with our families are so thankful to have had Betsy there on our wedding day. If you’re looking for a photographer who will capture those real moments on your day and be such a pleasure to work with, then I highly recommend Betsy to anyone.

Betsy did my college graduation photos and I've always known I wanted her to do our engagement photos when the time came. I think I messaged her a few days after we got engaged! Not only are her photos absolutely incredible but she is so fun and easy to work with. As most guys are, my fiancé is not the biggest fan of photos but ended up having so much fun with Betsy. She made us feel so comfortable and actually have fun with it. Five minutes in we felt totally comfortable. I'm super picky about photos but figured we would get a decent amount we liked. Betsy sent the photos edited so quickly and we almost cried because we loved ALL of them. She truly captured our relationship and who we are and we couldn't be happier. Cannot recommend her enough!!

Wow!!! I cannot speak highly enough about how incredibly detailed, confident, and professional Betsy is as a photographer. In September 2017, my husband and I had 50 of our closest friends and family join us in MYKONOS GREECE, for our wedding. Shortly after our engagement, we had Betsy shoot our engagement photos, and the session was so lovely. My husband HATES having his picture taken, but Betsy made the session so comfortable for us both. She is such a bright light, with such amazing positive energy, that the 2 hour shoot went by in a flash. The pictures were beautiful, so much so that our "love story" and Betsy's pictures of us, were featured in THE KNOT printed magazine!

When it came time for our wedding, it only made sense to fly Betsy to Greece to shoot us on our big day. From the moment our guests arrived in Europe, she remained a constant fly on the wall, capturing candid REAL MOMENTS of joy and excitement between our friends and family. Knowing she was catching every angle, freed up our guests from needing to snap pics on their phones, and instead they were able to truly enjoy themselves and be present in the moment. She shot our WELCOME DINNER, YACHTING DAY, REHEARSAL DINNER and of course our WEDDING DAY, and when I saw the images I was at a loss for words. Those pictures were also picked up by a publication, this time BRIDES MAGAZINE.

Not only is she terribly talented at what she does, she is also a genuinely good person, and I am happy to now call her a dear friend.

In the end, any bride should consider herself lucky to have Betsy behind the lens on her wedding day.

Betsy is an absolute dream to work with as a wedding photographer!
From the very start, she was super positive, organized and eager to make sure I got what I wanted in my wedding photos.
On my wedding day, she was so happy and kind, helping to keep the energy around me in a good place (which is super helpful for any bride-to-be)! She instantly clicked with my planner and videographer, connecting with them both on what was needed and coordinated a lot of beautiful shots with the videographer.
When we had a few hiccups during the day, she was so quick to find a solution and always with a smile on her face, working out what she could with family, friends, guests, etc. Something I massively appreciated for sure!
Now we already have some gorgeous preview pics - more than I thought I would get to be sure - and I am so appreciative of that. To say the photos are stunning is an understatement. The few that I shared already -- I have been told they look like scenes from a movie, the most gorgeous photos ever for a wedding. Thank you so much Betsy for your hard work - you were a star!

We LOVED working with Betsy. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer (with a ton of experience at concerts, fashion, etc.), but she is also just super fun to work with. From the initial chat to the actual day, she made us perfectly comfortable and excited to take great photos. The final photos we got back were both thorough, covering every aspect of the day, and of excellent quality.

Betsy helped us capture some of the most memorable and special moments of our wedding day! She was open to ideas but also gave a lot of suggestions to help us find the perfect location for our photos. We both felt very comfortable around her and I wouldn't go to anyone else for any other "photo needs". She's so easy to work with and there isn't a photo we've seen we haven't loved.
