He took the time to get to know us before our wedding day and really listened to all we had to say and used that info to make our ceremony incredibly personal. I'm a wedding photographer, and I've been to a LOT of weddings in the past decade, but John is among the very best officiants. We eloped, and he was the perfect choice to make our day awesome. He even arrived early to scope the area out and found the best spot for us. He cares not just for the wedding day, but genuinely invests in his clients. He's very good at listening for the little details that made the script very personal to us as a couple. John also gave us several options for repeat-after-me-style vows for the ceremony since we did a first look with personal vows beforehand. The options were great because they also gave us some ideas for our personal vows! Double whammy! Our photographer also made a point that John was very professional and we had one of the most seamless ceremonies she had seen. He doesn't need a reminder to step out of the frame for the first kiss after 500 weddings, that's for sure! We received so many compliments about the ceremony and what a good representation of our love it was. John was excellent. He was easy to communicate with and did the ceremony exactly the way we wanted! He even ran out of the shot IMMEDIATELY when he said you may kiss the bride so we got great photos. He helped with the vow writing and took feedback on the ceremony super well. He made the whole process so smooth. I could not recommend him more!
