I can't recommend Ben highly enough! I loved the service he provided. We did our engagement pictures with him, too and they turned out wonderfully. Ben has the creative eye and ability to capture moments that no one can. His candid shots of our wedding are a beautiful representation of the best day of my life. I don't know how he catches the exact moments he does! It's such a gift. We love the way he edits his film as well - with a softer, more natural look, rather than the contrived "glossy" look of many of the leading photographers out there. More than just his photography, Ben is such a great person. He cares about his clients, makes you feel at ease during a very stressful time, and lets you know that every thing you need or want will be done to the best of his ability (which is basically anything because he's THAT talented).

Ben Blood is the BEST! Aside from having a really cool name...and yes, that is his real name...he is super talented. He has an incredible eye for capturing the little details and moments that are important. He is NOT just another bandwagon wedding photographer who purchased a fancy camera and lets the camera and Photoshop do all the work. He is a true artist. Anyone can point and repeatedly shoot digital cameras these days and one or two will probably come out nice, but every shot Ben takes is intentional.

His pictures are not cheesy or all posed. They have a more photojournalism feel to them and we love that they also have a vintage style. Check out his blog (blog.benblood.com) and you'll see what I mean.

He is also very reasonably priced. We had to pay a little bit of a travel fee since he lives in Seattle and we got married in California...but even after the travel fee he was cheaper than many photographers we found in Southern California.

Ben is very professional, inconspicuously captures your big day and is just a really good guy! We loved getting to know him through our engagement shots and on the wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend him!!
