Meghna and her team at Bells n Rings had been working with us for almost a year, they truly have done an amazing job in executing our big day in a timely fashion and getting the job done correctly the first time around. Since day one, Meghna had answered all my questions and concerns as soon as she could or knew the answer, she never once said no and said she couldn't do this or that. The way Meghna and her team made sure all of vendors were all on the same page and had a set schedule and everyone followed it in a timely manner, it was beyond flawless. Meghna is an amazing wedding planner/coordinator! We hired her as an event day coordinator literally 2 weeks before our wedding. Despite such little time she did a phenomenal job. She even met with the venue manager and the decorator with me one final time before the big day. All vendors were coordinated flawlessly. She worked with us to make a very detailed itinerary of our big day. She made sure we thought about things that were important which we didn't even realize until she asked us. I seriously couldn't imagine how my wedding would have been without her and her team. Everything was on time as scheduled. Most importantly, we were able to relax and actually enjoy our wedding without stress because we had Meghna by our side the whole time. My husband and I can't thank Meghna and her team enough. Without a doubt, Meghna was the best thing that could have happened for our wedding! If anyone were to describe me as a person, it would be a Type A personality, stickler about time and very particular. Meghna was successful in making sure everything on my wedding day not just matched but exceeded my expectations - which is a feat in itself for someone as particular as me.
Everything from the first look to the vidaai started and ended on time. The cocktail hour and reception flowed seamlessly thanks to Meghna and her team's organization.
Everything was organized to perfection, they were always following up with the family members to ensure everyone was present whenever they were needed. I don't think there was any point in the day when one of her team members was not present near us in case we needed them. They made sure everything matched up to what we wanted while checking in at all times to see if we needed anything.
Even the vendors recommended by Meghna were incredible to work with. Even though Meghna did not plan the pre-wedding events, we used the same vendors, that she had recommended for wedding, for the pre-wedding events as well. They were great and worked with us to give us what we wanted, thanks to Meghna's recommendation.

Hiring Meghna was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. We got married at a logistically tough venue and Meghna went above and beyond for us. She was involved in every aspect and guided us through everything. She understood our vision and worked closely with vendors to make sure it came to life and constantly offered cost cutting solutions. She even spent a day with us in at the flower district in NYC explaining the different types of flowers and how they would look! Our parents loved working with her and she gave our families a sense of confidence and calm during all of our events. I was very impressed with Meghna when a situation arose with one of our vendors and she fought to protect our interests. She didn't let up and made sure we got what we wanted. It speaks volumes about the kind of planner Meghna is - we are just one client and she has to work with the vendors on a consistent basis but still stood up for us. She made sure the contract was honored, even if it hurt her relationship with the vendor. Our other vendors also commented on how Meghna is one of the most efficient, timely and organized planners they've ever worked with. I would highly recommend her and her team to any couple!!

Meghna helped us plan the wedding of our dreams in about 4.5 months! Due to a ill family member, we decided to move up our wedding from August to January. We are a Jewish-Indian couple, and we wanted a wedding that would somehow fitsboth of our needs and satisfy our families and two cultures. Meghna was up to the challenge! She started moving very quickly after we hired her. I am Jewish--and felt well out of my comfort zone picking Indian vendors. She sent me lists of some of the best in each vendor category--DJ, decorator, hair/makeup, photographer, videographer, etc. and then she would help us narrow down the list. This was tremendously helpful, as my husband and I are both resident physicians, and had zero time on our hands to call vendors in the middle of the day. Meghna AND her team were most exceptional when it came down to the last 1-2 weeks before the wedding, as well as, the day of the wedding. She started calling me almost everyday the week before the wedding to check in regarding tiny details. The morning of our wedding--her and her team were intimately involved in every detail. She kept both of our families in line on our wedding day--making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be on time. We had two separate ceremonies in one day--and WE KNOW it would never have been possible without Meghna.

I've just returned from our honeymoon and am thinking back on the time I spent working with Meghna at Bells N Rings on planning my wedding festivities. I think hiring a wedding planner is a great idea if it's within your budget and I would recommend trying Bells N Rings for your event. Meghna has years of experience working on weddings and with vendors and it shows as she is quite professional. The day of the wedding went pretty smoothly with one tiny hiccup which I think is pretty amazing seeing that we had a 250+ plus wedding in Manhattan. Her staff was courteous and prompt and she made it a point to make me relax and enjoy my big day!
