This is a MUCH belated review for Beauty Duet -- despite the lateness, I had such an amazing experience working with Linda and Malina, that I feel it is the least I can do to show my gratitude.

Linda was the hair artist and Malina was my make-up artist for my wedding in September 2011. I could not have been more pleased. I met both of them for a trial run before the wedding, so we could go over exactly what I wanted done. I initially was not too pleased with how my makeup turned out (with a different artist), so Linda offered me another makeup trial (this time with Malina -- complimentary!). In this way, Linda brought a lot of ideas to the table and gave suggestions without being overwhelming or pushy. She was my main contact throughout the planning process, and she was very easy to communicate with -- I especially appreciate that she genuinely wanted me to look even more beautiful that I even thought possible.

After my trial, I requested a few changes, which the Beauty Duet team made perfectly. On the day of the wedding, they was on time and very professional. Linda and Malina did hair & makeup for four bridesmaids and myself (the bride). Everyone was very happy with how their hair and makeup turned out! Not only did I look beautiful for my wedding day, but my makeup and hairstyle also LASTED the whole night, even though I was running around and changing outfits at the reception. Both Linda and Malina had a great attitude the whole morning and afternoon while we were getting made up and were very accommodating. I would highly recommend Beauty Duet to anyone in need of a hair/makeup artist for a wedding or special event!

Jenny and Linda are the best! Linda did all of my bridesmaids hair and they looked great. She was fast and creative. Jenny did my makeup and for the first time in my life I felt beautiful. She also did my braidsmaids, and my mothers makeup. They all looked beautiful and radient. Jenny has the ability to make you look flawless without looking like you have too much makeup on.

For my wedding, Linda did my hair and Jenny did my make-up, and they were fantastic. I looked and felt beautiful. They answered all my questions and they were able to adjust the hair/make-up styles to fit my Asian hair/facial features.

Linda and Jenny also did hair and make-up for my six bridesmaids and all the girls look fantastic.Two of my bridesmaids are Caucasian and four are Asian. Jenny was able to customize to each of the girl's make-up to fit their look. The bridesmaids also had a variety of hair color and lengths, and Linda did a fantastic job of working with the different hair styles.

You can't go wrong with putting your wedding hair/make-up in the hands of these two skilled, talented professionals.

Linda is super sweet and creative. She really takes her time to make sure your hair is exactly how you want it and is AMAZING at what she does.

She recently did my hair for my engagement shoot. I brought her a picture of Mila Kunis's hairstyle from the SAG awards and she took one look at it and said "EASY." I started out with stick straight shoulder length hair, and after Linda was done with me, I had long waves that were full of body. I was concerned the clip on hair extensions I brought wouldn't blend in with my short hair, but Linda made them look flawless. The photographer didn't even know it wasn't my real hair!

I can't wait until she does my hair for my wedding!

Jenny and Linda of Beauty Duet are amazing sweethearts. They were so patient and flexible to work with on such a hectic and important day. I corresponded with them via email and sent pictures of what I was aiming for, thinking all the while that it will probably come out looking flat on my poker straight hair. Linda said it best, "yes, you can". I loved it! I guess you should always trust her credentials as the Co-director of Paul Mitchell School for Hair.
I changed my look last minute the day before the wedding and they delivered exactly what I wanted without even having a trial for the second look. I added 2 more bookings for hair and makeup for my sisters and they were happy to accommodate. Jenny has an amazing eye for what works. She has these gorgeous special dramatic fake lashes that are weightless and stay on all night without poking you in the eye or concerns that they are about to fall off.

Linda Chau is the best!!! I had my wedding about a month ago. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I received tons of compliments throughout the night!

I had a trial done with a different hairstylist for my engagement session and absolutely hated it. My hair was stiff and it fell flat within an hour, so I decided to hired Linda instead.

I bought clip ons and was worried it wouldn't hold up because my hair is thin and short. She reassured me that everything will be fine. She was very professional, patient, and really took her time on my hair.

My curls held up the ENTIRE night! I was amazed it how great it still looked after the reception was over. She did a FANTASTIC job and I would definitely recommend her to everyone.

Linda did a wonderful job on my hair and also my bridesmaids, she was very sweet and professional.

I had the pleasure of having Linda doing my hair and 3 bridesmaids' hair on my wedding. Prior to the actual day, we exchanged lots of emails and did a bridal trial for me. I loved that she very communicative because I was unsure on how I wanted my hair done. She also wanted me to email her what kind of hairstyle my bridesmaids wanted. I love that she wanted to be prepared not only for me, but for my bridesmaids as well.

I had a Chinese wedding, and it's auspicious to be married by noon for my family. So being on time and early was very important to my family and I. We began our day promptly at 5am. She was right on time at the hotel, and finish by 8:30am. I was very impressed by her talent. She was able to make a simple hairdos (up, side loose curls; soft bun; loose curls; loose curls half way up) very updated and modern for my bridesmaids and I. Not only did I get tons of complements from everyone, all my bridesmaids did too.

My 3 bridesmaids and I have very long straight hair; it's hard for our hair to stay curled throughout the day. I like that she pre-set our hair before curling and styling. Our hair lasted from like 8am to midnight. I would definitely recommend everyone to use Linda. She's talented, professional, sweet, and wonderful person to work with.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Linda on my wedding day! I communicated with many stylists and chose Linda because of the positive feedback on her services from 3 friends. I also appreciated her responsiveness and recommendations given my budget.

A few months before my wedding, I did a trial run for hair which I also used for my engagement photos. TIP for brides to be: If you are comfortable with your hair trail you can also book the same day for your engagement photos. I of course loved my hair and I continue to get compliments about my wedding hair.

On the day of service, she was timely, tactful, and well prepared for doing my hair and the hair of my 5 bridesmaids. I loved our hairstyles and they looked just as planned. I would highly recommend Linda's services on your special day.

Linda was the hairstylist for all my bridesmaids on my wedding day. She was great about being on time, since there were a total of 8 girls that needed hair and makeup done... ALL before 9:00 am... she arrived on time and ready to work...
