James & his wife are absolutely wonderful from their professionalism to their attention to detail, impressed is an understatement! I originally wasn’t going to book a videographer due to my wedding budget, but after seeing a friends highlight video, I had to at least try. So, I contacted James 1 month before my wedding & explained my situation & he truly worked with me on achieving what I wanted & staying within budget. The fact that he had my wedding day open with such late notice was a dream come true & he even let me know someone else had asked for that very day after me & even though I hadn’t given him a deposit yet, he gave me priority! He is truly so kind & really cares for his clients. When it came to my big day, James was AMAZING, he had such good ideas & made a video that myself, the groom, & all of our guests absolutely loved! James listened to everything I wanted & made sure to incorporate my wants, as well as add in surprises that I truly loved! I catch myself watching my wedding highlight video all the time! I got married in November & have probably watched it & showed others 100 times already, that’s how great it truly is! James & his wife are masters at their craft & reaching out to them a month before my wedding was the best decision I ever made! I’m very blessed to have had them be a special part of my big day. If you are like me & are debating if you should have a videographer on your wedding day, trust me, you need to call James, otherwise, I promise you will regret it!! James and Kate are simply the best. They made my partner and I feel so at ease during our photoshoot and guided us into poses that were flattering and captured the essence of our day. They made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. When capturing our ceremony and other details, they were not invasive at all. It felt like they weren't even there, yet they captured every moment and truly were everywhere. We just got out sneak peek of photos and they are stunning. They captured the essence of our day and vision perfectly. We are eager to see more! Beautiful Life is not only extremely talented, but also exceptionally kind and considerate.

I got married in August 2023, and I am so happy that I chose Beautiful Life Films to be our photographer and videographer. From day one, James and Kate were a joy to work with. They are professional and were very eager to make sure we were happy and comfortable with their services. They are also extremely flexible, considering we made the last-minute decision to bump up our videography package, and they had no problems with that change at all! Additionally, all of our photos came out beautifully and perfectly captured the light, airy, and timeless look we were looking for. And our videos were amazing too, so much so we bumped up our package like I previously mentioned (and it was awesome that our photos/videos felt cohesive and like they were done together…because they were!) I definitely recommend this awesome duo if you’re looking for an amazing photography and videography team in the Asheville area!

Wow!!! Beautiful Life Films and Photography absolutely blew it out of the water for our wedding. James and Kate are truly such a joy to be around and make you feel so comfortable. James was absolutely amazing! I really wanted a full wedding video and not just a highlight reel, and did not find one when we first started looking. Our wedding planner suggested James as an option, and I’m so glad that she did! James & Kate were a wonderful team! We felt their services were affordable for offering both photography and videography and they were willing to travel down to SC for our engagement shoot and wedding. We absolutely love how our pictures turned out and got them back in just a few weeks after the wedding! They really listened to us when we expressed desire for natural looking photos. We should be getting the video soon and I know that is going to be just as amazing.
