We worked with Ryley amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we postponed our large nuptials out of state and decided to have a private elopement ceremony on the beach on our original date. We found Ryley when she was recommended on Facebook group as someone who did elopement sessions. She was very professional and a ton of fun, she was willing to work within our budget and was very flexible in meeting us at our hotel before the ceremony to snap a few more pictures there. Ryley made us completely comfortable with her despite being the only person with us for a very intimate day. She followed up so quickly with some photos previews and we had our entire gallery only shortly after that. Overall, working with Ryley was a great experience and we'd absolutely work with her again.

This woman is absolutely amazing! She’s invention & a photo-ninja; you’ll find pictures in the finals you didn’t even know she was taking. She helps you relax and really knows how to capture the moment. My father is the worst! He likes to move right as the camera snaps, but she managed to get a bunch of wonderful shots of him. And the parents of my flower girls are begging me for pictures because they’re the “best they’ve ever had taken” (actual quote). She loves what she does and it shines through her work. Even though it’s not her role- she stepped up & helped everyone calm down when the mother of the groom was 40 min late, seriously above and beyond is what you’ll get with this one. She’s my photographer for any event in the future now, how many can you say that about!

Ryley is truly an amazing person and is very talented . She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during our shoot which helped to capture those natural moments. I contacted Barefoot Photography when my original photographer fell through 2 months before my out of town wedding. Every step of the way, Ryley was very friendly and helpful. She was open and flexible to my probably unusual requests. One of my favorite things about her before meeting her was that she actually listened what I like and made that work with ideas of her own. I commented on her use of dramatic landscapes, and she set me up with THE most incredible landscape for photos.

When I finally had the chance to meet Ryley, my favorite thing about her changed to get relaxed vibe that made us comfortable taking photos, and the ease of getting of to know her with no awkward introductory phase. She let us be ourselves and didn't force unnatural and repetitive poses on us.

Just days after our photos were taken, Ryley sent me a sneak peek with one amazing photo that quickly changed my favorite thing about her once again. That photo is my favorite photo of anyone ever taken, and it happens to be of my husband and me wearing some fancy clothes. What more could you ask for in a photographer? The rest of the photos turned out to be stunning as well, and I know that Ryley is my photographer for life, I don't care if we are 5 hours apart.

We used Barefoot Photography for our wedding on November 14, 2015 and I am so happy that we did! In addition to our wedding photos, Ryley also did our engagement photos. She was so helpful scouting out areas to take photos that captured our personalities. She also looked at my pinterest boards I had made for engagement and wedding photos to get ideas of what style photos I would want. For our engagement session we took some photos at a park and some at a baseball field and Ryley had no problems going to multiple places. She was even great with taking photos of us with our dog! On our wedding day she brought her partner, Matt, with her so we could make sure we got all of the special moments captured. They did the most amazing job at capturing every moment! My Groom and Groomsmen had a great time taking fun pictures with Matt while Ryley took photos of the girls getting ready. The photos turned out so beautiful! Ryley also gets the editing done and the photos mailed to you super fast! Ryley and Matt were so much fun to work with! I would definitely recommend Barefoot Photography and would definitely use Ryley and Matt again!

We loved having Ryley as our photographer, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. I also really appreciated that she wasn't overbearing or controlling as some other photographers I spoke with. Additionally we received our photographs very quickly and they were gorgeous. We are having a really hard time choosing which ones we like the best! We also used her second photographer option and that photographer was also competent and professional. Her prices are very reasonable.
