Getting married in Punta Cana was the best decision I (Sharon) made. Not only did I have a wonderful, unique destination wedding on a gorgeous white sand beach with glittering turquoise waters as the backdrop, but I had so many days of memories made with my favorite family and friends. I might be biased, but I genuinely believe a destination wedding is the best way to get married. The only negative thing about the process was my travel agent. She could have been more communicative, made errors on my guests' bookings, and had to do all the work for my 90 invitees. That's why, when I returned from my wedding, I combined my love for weddings and travel with my desire to not let another bride have the same experience I did and created Barefoot Bridal.

Planning a destination wedding comes with so many moving parts, and there have definitely been moments when I felt completely overwhelmed. At one point, I was seriously considering canceling because I was so stressed and worried that we wouldn’t be able to meet our room block requirements. I remember feeling like everything was becoming too much.
Natasia was there to listen. She never made me feel like I was just another bride or another booking. She took the time to hear me out, reassure me, and help me work through my concerns.
One of the things I appreciate most about Natasia is that she never just says “no.” Whenever I have a question or ask if something is possible, her response is always something along the lines of, “Let me find out what we can do.” She takes the time to look into things and see if there are options or solutions instead of immediately shutting something down. As a bride, that means so much!
She also responds so quickly and has always been just a phone call away whenever I needed her. Whether I had a question, concern, or was simply having one of those “I’m freaking out” wedding-planning moments, I knew I could reach out to her.
Her patience, responsiveness, and willingness to advocate for us have made such a difference in our planning experience. She has genuinely made me feel like someone is in our corner, especially during the moments when wedding planning felt overwhelming.

They took total charge of the process right away, handling all the initial outreach to various resorts and filtering through the options for us.
