Absolutely Spectacular! That’s the only way to begin this review. Joe Banker Photography with his assistant Ashley could NOT have been a better choice for our wedding. From the first moments of contact with Joe, we were enthralled with his work. Joe was super personable and open to new ideas within the realm of wedding photography. They were easy to contact and work around schedules. Joe and Ashley traveled over 6 hours to provide their services. They were willing to involve our dogs (our fur babies) in the engagement session and focused on getting the best photos out of the session. They even waded into the water for better shots! Joe and Ashley made suggestions about lighting and weather to achieve the best possible service for just starting with our engagement photos.
On our wedding day, February 3, 2023, Joe and Ashley went even further above what we expected. Our wedding day was freezing cold with a heavy bitter wind. As a couple we wanted an outdoor winter wedding and Joe Banker Photography was prepared for it! Joe looped back and forth (bearing the cold wind) between the bridal party and groomsmen party to include everyone in the preparations. Ashley stayed with the bride and helped to gather any missing items for the day, along with keeping all the reaction shots a secret until we were ready for them. They went beyond their call of service to help the groom with his boutonniere and the bride with her veil. With the heavy wind, there was concern about hair getting ruined and the outdoor photos not looking perfect. They both made every possible effort to snap all the important photos before the weather could beat us.
Joe and Ashley were able to snap photos with natural reactions and made the nervousness of being photographed easier for the whole wedding party and guests. They took on the bitter cold wind and made sure to force the bride inside when she started to turn colors from being too cold. They were flexible about getting all the shots we wanted and shots we didn’t know we wanted. Joe and Ashley were extremely excited to experiment with specific locations and types of photos we wanted. They were excited and willing to try to take some photography shots that they had never done before! We HIGHLY recommend Joe Banker Photography and could not ask for a better service.

Joe and Ashley captured the magic of our wedding, plain and simple. They were skilled, engaging, and creative, and had that must-have instinct for being in the right place at the right time to get that perfect shot. They helped us coordinate our day and stay on schedule, but knew when to step back and let the moments come to them. They were also just...fun! Our whole family raved about them and how they interacted with everyone. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Joe and Ashley could not have been more incredible! From start to finish Joe was easy to contact and had many great ideas in terms of the schedule of the day and what shots to get. Joe's attention to detail did not go unnoticed and I don't think he missed a single shot the whole day/night! Joe and Ashley were so flexible and patient and went above and beyond to get the best pictures possible, not to mention did whatever they could to help me keep my dress clean while getting the shots or moving from spot to spot! They both could not have been better and I would recommend them to anyone I know! Truly fantastic!

Honestly, things with Joe couldn't have been better. He was the perfect balance of professional and relatable, a very easy guy to work with. His partner was a huge help as well and they make a great team. At no point did I feel like he was all about "the contract" and instead I could tell he was about getting what he needed to put together a great shot. And it showed! I'm definitely going to be biased, but I think my wife and I received the absolute best wedding shots compared to so many other's I've seen. Joe has a great eye for the perfect candid shot, his editing is simple but effective and everything he does complements the final product. Go with Joe.

Joe is a great choice if you are looking for a wedding photographer! We first saw his website portfolio and based on the pictures we saw, we knew we wanted him to shoot our wedding. His pictures stood out to us because they are sharp without being overly touched up using too many filters making them look almost fake! On top of his ability to take great photos, we really appreciated that he was really easy to get along with and flexible around our schedule and with what we wanted to do for the wedding and engagement photos. It was clear he cares about his work and it shows in his pictures. He even caught a bad case of poison ivy marching through a field trying to get the perfect angle for our engagement photos! You really can’t go wrong with Joe. You’ll love your pictures and enjoy your time working with him!

I can not recommend Joe & Ashley enough! They captured our day beautifully and were soo helpful (Ashley fixed my shoe when it broke 15 minutes before the ceremony). The pictures were beautifully edited, and we got them back within a month of our big day. I loved how they really captured us as a couple. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Joe and Ashley were the photographers at my daughter's wedding. Joe was amazing and so professional. My interaction was mostly with Ashley. She provided guidance and assistance to me and the mother-of-groom, which truly helped alleviate our stress levels. She truly went above and beyond with helping us through the day.

I would highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a photographer! Joe and one other member of his team shot our wedding day photos, and they came out wonderfully. We've ordered numerous prints and calendar from Joe's photos as gifts for family members as well, and all have been great quality!

Joe was able to direct us for poses while also taking in any and all input that we had. He was kind, communicative, and helpful throughout the process. He's extremely reasonably priced, and even brought an extra member of his team to help capture our day because of how the timing worked out. If you want a friendly, prompt-responding, and helpful photographer for your day, I can't recommend Joe enough!

Joe was AMAZING. Joe did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we could not have been happier. Joe was attentive, inventive and he was able to really capture my husband and I as we are. Joe and his assistant were a pleasure to work with on the day of our wedding, they captured moments we didn't know we would want, but now cherish.
