Avigail was our wedding planner, day-of coordinator, and florist for our perfect July 2025 wedding. We enjoyed every aspect of working with Avigail: her resources to the greater event planning community, recommendations of vendors and potential locations, general experience in wedding planning, and her eye for floral and event design. She and husband Noel worked together on our wedding setup and day-of coordination.

Between the two of them and the service team they brought, every aspect of the day was covered and super easeful for me and my husband. Noel was especially helpful for set up and A/V, which was a big relief for us because we did not hire a DJ or MC. The entire team, from set-up and service to breakdown, was incredibly professional and made the day feel seamless.

Avigail‘s florals were jaw-droppingly beautiful and to this day we get compliments from our friends and family. We were looking for a mix of tropical meets romantic for our bouquets and table arrangements. She hit the nail on the head for absolutely every arrangement (see photos).

A day-of coordinator is the most important vendor you could look for, and we couldn’t recommend Avigail more! As far as florals go, there is NO better option locally than Avigail. She has the experience, resources, and natural talent to meet any and all budgets, visions, and expectations.

We decided to hire Avigail as our wedding planner, in hopes to take a great deal of the stress off of ourselves, and she did that, as well as so much more. Avigail is extremely knowledgeable about all of the details that are necessary to make a wedding happen, so she was able to guide us through all of the decisions that would need to be made. My husband and I did not have strong preferences on how we wanted the wedding to look, we just came with colors and certain vibes we wanted to feel. She took that and ran with it in the best way, and was able to make a magical and gorgeous event, even with our relatively small budget. Additionally, she is well-known in the Brookings community, and therefore was able to get us good deals on things like caterers and our venue, and the fact that she offers so many services through her own business also saved us on cost. I would recommend Avigail's services, both as wedding planner and florist, to absolutely anyone looking to get married in the Brookings area!!

Avigail was our wedding planner and day-of coordinator in September 2022. She was truly amazing to work with. My partner and I shared our ideas and desires for the wedding day and Avigail brought those dreams to life. My bouquet was gorgeous - deep, dark tones that matched our color scheme seamlessly. The altar was fit together piece by piece by Avigail and her husband from pieces of driftwood that Avigail collected on our behalf for months preceding the wedding day and was even more stunning than we could have imagined. When it started to rain (gently) on the day itself, Avigail was there with umbrellas for everyone in our party, that she provided free of cost.

All of this is to say, Avigail truly takes pride in her events and treats her patrons like family. She is passionate about what she does and has an incredible eye for design and creativity. Avigail made our wedding one of the best days of our life - we cannot recommend her enough.

She just turned 83 and is recovering from a stroke and other ailments and was so happy with the flowers. They picked up her spirits and gave her something positive to start her day.

Avigail and her crew did a phenomenal job with our rehearsal dinner at Crook Point AND she orchestrated a wonderful morning after brunch for us and our friends. We decided pretty last minute to go ahead and book Avigail for the rehearsal dinner. (We thought we could do it ourselves, but quickly realized there were too many moving parts, and we wanted to be relaxed that night instead of hosting- something to think about!) Avigail threw together exactly what we wanted and worked so beautifully with Lisa, our caterer, for the food that night. The evening was perfect: everything was taken care of, bartenders, decor, heating lamps, and tables were all magically placed. Avigail set up two fires for us on the beach down there, complete with s'mores set up and benches and chairs. They stayed late to clean up and put everything out so we could just leave when we wanted to without worrying about anything! Our guests were amazed at the setup and how beautifully the event came together.
For the morning after our wedding, Avigail and her crew again stepped up to the plate and, last minute brought us anything we needed- like more champagne! She cooked a fantastic breakfast and again had everything set up for us.
I would 100% recommend using Avigail for future events. She is easy to work with and understands that plans can change quickly, and adapts well to get it done; definitely qualities you want for event planning! My guests all enjoyed her personally, as did my husband and I. I would definitely do it all over again with Avigail!
