Avery was part of our photography team on our wedding day, and she truly exceeded every expectation.
There is one moment I will never forget—right before I walked down the aisle. The doors were closed, my heart was racing, and it was just me standing there trying to take it all in. Avery stood beside me, gave me the warmest, most reassuring smile, and instantly brought a sense of calm over me. Moments later, the doors opened—and I’ll carry that memory with me forever.
Not only did she capture our day in such a beautiful, intentional, and storytelling way, but she also brought the most comforting and grounding energy to such an emotional day. As a bride (and a photographer myself), that meant everything.
Our wedding day was the greatest day of our lives, and Avery played such a meaningful role in both documenting it and supporting us through it.
We truly could not have done it without her, and we are so incredibly grateful she was part of our day.

Avery was AMAZING! Avery was recommended by my wedding planner, Cheryl-Anne Kast. I didn't know Avery as she wasn't on the original list that Cheryl-Anne sent. From the moment she introduced herself and took us through her process during the initial call she was professional, warm, witty and super organized. We told her that we were an older couple who had been together for years and so we were not as much into the traditional wedding thing. Avery was affirming and held our hands every step of the way. She listened to us define what was important and our vision for the big day. Her package comes with an engagement session. I didn't know what to expect at such a session but during those two hours--that's when I really saw Avery shine. We suggested a new location for the shoot which she was excited about and then when we got there she made us feel at ease with the setting and each other. She helped me coordinate my outfits! Avery is highly organized, a good communicator and passionate about bringing out the best in the couple and has great photographic skills. During the engagement shoot she explained to us everything about why she was asking us to pose in a specific way, why she created a huge guide for the bride and groom (read it--it's comprehensive!) and how our work during the engagement session was going to enhance how the wedding day would go. I had a fabulous time at the engagement session and my partner and I made a decision on the spot to hire her for the rehearsal dinner which was a very good decision on our part. We also LOVED the engagement photos. She's definitely a people person, has great emotional intelligence and just feels like someone who is going to take the time to get to know you during a very stressful and joyful time in one's life. Much of the 'wedding industry complex' feels impersonal and fake. Not Avery. She made us feel special which is what every couple hopes for.
She stayed on top of all the details prior to the wedding and communicated effectively with the wedding planner and other vendors. We LOVED the wedding and rehearsal dinner photos. On the big day, she was calm, supportive, again super organized and had a great assistant. She was energetic and by that time she was used to myself and my partner and was able to capture great shots. Every wedding website I read said don't scrimp on a photographer and they were right. Aspects of the wedding are a blur and looking at her photos, I'm able to remember and savor so much. Her rates were incredibly reasonable and I am looking forward to working with her again.

Avery was the absolute BEST. In the beginning of our wedding planning I was really adamant about not wanting lots of photos at the wedding, CRAZY and SILLY I know. I was super self conscious about my acne scars but yet not willing to wear a bunch of makeup to cover them up. Somehow Avery was able to take the most beautiful photos the day of and make me look and feel like an absolute princess. I didn't have to go all glamorous with the makeup, but my skin still photographed beautifully. Believe it or not my wedding photos are now my favorite thing we spent money on!!!

She also did an incredible job of making myself as well as my husband and the rest of the family feel comfortable getting our photos taken. During engagement photos and the day of the wedding, my husband (who is an ex marine mind you) was totally getting into the photos because Avery made us feel so comfortable. My Dad who is a rugged and an old school carpenter has even been showing off the wedding photos to all of his buddies because he loves them so much. All of our friends and family are blown away with how they turned out and are asking to post them on their social media accounts.

If you are looking for a photographer who will give you the most beautiful of photos but also make it an incredible and exciting experience full of beautiful memories GO WITH AVERY, you will not regret it.

Avery has been photographing my family for the past year. She is absolutely one of the best photographers I have ever used! She is so sweet and easy to work with!
