Averie did both our engagement shoot and wedding and she knocked it out of the park! I followed her on Instagram for awhile before getting engaged and I always knew that I wanted to hire her as the photographer. She is super sweet, and definitely makes you feel comfortable throughout your entire shoot. She is super flexible as we had to change our wedding date because of the pandemic, and she just made the whole process so much easier!

My friend used Averie as her wedding photographer two years ago, and I knew immediately after seeing her photos that I wanted to work with her for my own wedding. I literally reached out to her the day after we got engaged and her personality in our conversations confirmed she was the perfect photographer for us.
My husband and I used Averie for two engagement photos sessions and she picked out the most stunning locations. We felt so comfortable around her, and she had the most amazing eye for poses and perfect photo spots. The photos were gorgeous and didn't feel forced or posed. We had so much fun and left each session feeling like she was our best friend. We were supposed to take Averie with us to Colorado for our mountain wedding last month, but had to postpone due to COVID. We instead chose to elope at a local courthouse, and asked Averie to tag along. Her flexibility and positivity about the whole situation was more helpful than words can describe. We thought the day was going to be simple and need little coordination, but we were very wrong. Averie stepped up and played impromptu wedding-coordinator, AND continued to capture incredible photos the entire day. She's the real deal. Our original first-look location fell through, and without skipping a beat Averie literally sprinted around downtown Dallas to find a new perfect spot. We just got our wedding photos back and are blown away at how incredible they are. They are so authentic and emotional and 100% us. We can't wait to adventure to Colorado with her next year. Averie is the most talented and effervescent soul/photographer/impromptu wedding coordinator and I would 10000% recommend her everyone.

Averie is an angel!!! She was so amazing to work with and was totally affordable. She took my bridals and wedding photos and now we use her for our family photos! She was so accomadating and so sweet. I would highly recommend using Averie, you won't be disappointed!

I cannot explain how beyond happy I was with every single photo Averie took, PLUS how loving and invested she was in hearing every word of vision and dream I had in my heart. I felt like she cared about these photos as much as I did. Not to mention, she sent us the first few photos less than twelve hours after our wedding! We got to scroll through some of them at the airport on our way to our honeymoon. She went above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamt of!

Averie is the ABSOLUTE best! She did our proposal and engagement photos and did a phenomenal job. We weren't able to book her for our actual wedding, but I wish we could have SO bad. She is super easy to work with and, even better, super FUN to work with! She makes you feel at ease in front of the camera and is beyond sweet. She is beyond talented. Her photography truly is a piece of art. I would not recommend any other photographer!!!

Averie is the sweetest soul and we were so excited to have her capture our big day. Her photo style is incredible, and just what we were looking for! The sneak peeks are stunning, and we can't wait to see the entire album of our big day!

She did my sisters high school grad pix and they were amazing, they let me know she was so sweet and that they had a great experience. So my husband and I booked her for our wedding. She literally got a DUI the night before our engagement shoot session were I had my hair and make up trial same day early in the morning so I would be prepared for the photos. She did not let me know she wasn’t coming because she was sitting in the drunk tank and I waited all day & night for her to respond while in full hair and make up. She contacted next day apologizing, I get it things happen and she assured I would be discounted for the session even though we were forced to use iPhone photos my sister ended up taking to help us for our SAVE THE DATES. We kept her because we had a contract , wedding day comes she gets the most random photos and only edits with one same filter and sends them over. Communication started to get less frequent and longer waits between my questions and her responses on when photos would be ready ect. After I received them 6 months in they are no longer available to view on the gallery I texted asking to make them visible again. She didn’t even bother responding she just made them visible . She will not respond to any of my emails or texts with questions on how to navigate getting my photos off of the website she uses. DO NOT HIRE , once she is paid she literally ghosts you!!

Averie seems sweet enough, and her photography is beautiful, but she does not respond or communicate. This is not my responsibility! We had an engagement shoot "on the schedule" and the date came and went with no communication from Averie. This is completely unprofessional. Do not book with her unless you enjoy being ignored.
