We got married in Oct 2025 in NH and had Eric as our DJ at the wedding! I met him back in my UNH days and he was the first person I booked after I got engaged! He was the perfect person for the job! I went in not knowing exactly what kind of music I was going to want & where but he helps walk you through every step of the process! He recommended music that would be a good fit when I wasn’t sure what to fill it with! He had his own lighting that was incredible! He filled the room with color and fun and music coordinating lights so it looked like a party and was great for photos!! He played all of my must plays and the dance floor was filled ALL night, guests still comment on how good he was! He also recommended a photo booth guy that we used who was amazing! I truly can’t say enough good things about Eric! If you’re looking for someone to DJ your wedding (or another event) hire Eric!! He is an incredible DJ and an even better person! DJ Eric, DJ Downstairs, doesn't matter what you call him, you just need to call him. He worked with us to make our wedding at the Wentworth an event that people are still talking about months later. He worked with us on custom playlists, was not the intrusive "emcee" style of DJ, and he worked perfectly with our planner and photographer to make our night incredible. He definitely honored and nailed our reception playlist of "classy big band/rat pack" music and really had a fun time doing it. He was super easy to talk to on the phone and we got along immediately. You can tell just by talking with him that he has the experience and talent to make your event go from great to WOW! I will be recommending him to anyone I hear get engaged.

MASSIVE shoutout to DJ Downstairs, who travelled all the way to Saddleback Mountain in Rangeley to make our dreams of “we want everyone on the dance floor at our wedding” come true. Eric was awesome to work with - super knowledgeable about coordinating music and mics at the wedding, very laid back, and made sure to keep killer tunes going late into the night. THANK YOU for the best wedding dance floor jams we could ever imagine - what a fun night!

We had reached out to a few DJ's, but Eric had the best rates/packages & all 5-star reviews. He helped us out with a questionnaire to get started & fine-tune the package for our day. We went with the Party Package, added an extra hour & he cut us a fair deal to supply music & a microphone for our ceremony (located down a field by the Connecticut River).

Eric is prompt with answering emails & phone calls. We had a FaceTime chat for about 90 mins so that we could "meet" him & talk more about what we needed. He has great ideas & can be trusted to play suitable music for any crowd. Our wedding guests were an average age of 50-ish; he played some of the classic wedding dance music. He also listened to us with our "Do Not Play" list which is very important. Like, he even agreed that he personally wouldn't want the songs played at his wedding, either.

I'd say Eric is more than a DJ; he is also a great coordinator. I saw him teaming up with our photographer to make sure things were smooth. He interacted with guests & was walking around to announce what was happening next & telling tables when it was their turn to go up to get their dinner. I felt completely at ease & loved that Eric was so in control.

All in all, I plan to recommend Eric to other couples for their wedding. HE IS WORTH EVERY CENT!

Eric is the best! He was our wedding DJ on 6/18/22. He had everyone on the dance floor all night long and was so wonderful to work with!

Eric was so amazing - working with us on the type of music we wanted during each stage of our ceremony/reception. Eric is simply the best there is! We hired Eric for our wedding at Sugarloaf Mountain on May 29, 2021. We have always said that a DJ can make or break a wedding and Eric was everything we dreamed of and more. We (and our rather large UNH crew) know Eric (better known as DJ Downstairs) from our Scorps basement days and when we reached out to have him at our wedding, all the stars aligned. Eric is the best! Extremely professional, very responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The dance floor was packed the night of our wedding as Eric played hit after hit. I've since has a few people ask who used for a DJ. I'd recommend Eric to anyone :)
