Eric was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He played so well to the crowd's taste, and the dance floor was full all night!

Eric was a perfect selection to be our wedding DJ. He is very knowledgeable from his 20 years of service and he had a never-ending playlist. My wife and I were very particular about our music, being that we both love to dance. He listened to every song request we made and threw in his own pieces of flare. During our dinner, he also provided a screen for us to project a photo slide show. In our search, we realized that we didn't want a cheesy DJ who stopped the party to make a funny joke. Eric never did this and still kept the party going the whole night. His demeanor was very laidback and professional. Eric is wicked nice guy and we highly recommend him for any wedding.

DJ Mike-E-Luv was our DJ for our wedding reception. We suggested a few of our favorites and he filled in the rest of the play list on his own. We had a lot of people that love to dance and Mike did a good job of catering the play list to the crowd. He also did a great job with finding the appropriate volume for the music throughout dinner and dancing. All of our guests had very good things to say about the music and Mike was also quick to offer his help solving a crisis we had with our food. Eric G, the owner of Upper Valley DJ's has also been helpful and responsive whenever contacted. Highly recommended!

The DJ went with the flow was very responsive to requests and changes. He was difficult to contact initially but after the initial contact he was excellent.

Eric was awesome and kept the party going and guests on the dance floor ALL night! He even stayed an extra hour when we asked so we could keep dancing. The quality receieved for the price was wonderful. He also provided music for our ceremony and it turned out beautiful. I received many compliments from guests for the great variety and selection of music. I would highly recommend him!

For a long time in the planning process we thought we would just use a friend with an ipod as our DJ, but about 2 months before the wedding we decided for stress purposes to actually hire a DJ. Our first choice was already booked for our wedding day, but Upper Valley DJ has multiple DJs and we were able to book one for our date. We had DJ Johnny P, and overall, he did a great job. I used the tools online to choose my playlist, and indicate which songs were to be used for certain parts of the reception, and even though we never talked over the list, he had everything ready to go that day, at the right time. The drawback to the website tools was that I would choose a song like the Electric Slide to add to my list, but apparently there are several versions, so the one he began playing was all hip-hoppy and weird. Luckily, we went up to Jon and told him we wanted the "80's" version, and he quickly switched the track over for us. When we needed a little more time before the first dance, he was more than willing to push the schedule back some. He even accommodated my request to sing True Blue karaoke style to the groom and also handed over the microphone to my dad with his guitar for a few tunes. My criticisms would be 1) Jon was very professional communication-wise before the wedding, but actually at the event, I felt he was much less professional (though very friendly and approachable) and his side kick (assistant?) was even hitting on one of the bridesmaids, 2) there were a few songs where the version of the song was not the one I had intended to have, 3) he invited my grandfather up before dinner to lead a "toast" instead of the blessing (Opps!), and 4) the cost. Overall, it was a success.

We loved our DJ Jason from the start. He seemed to understand our whole philosophy. But, our entire wedding reception was built around music, and we had a VERY specific playlist, which we thought we had conveyed to him in our first meeting. Our tables were designated by band, our escort cards were concert tickets. For the most part, he played our list, but, when he could have pulled slow songs from our list, especially the one we requested he play early for my MIL - he chose instead to play "traditional" songs to get people dancing. It didn't really work because we knew our crowd and what we wanted. While he was on top of everything else, from announcing us to making sure the dinner music was piping in, he really screwed up by going off the list. I didn't hear a LOT of the songs we picked during dance or cocktail hour. I was pretty upset by that.
