Ashley Garcia is more than just a photographer! She has a gift for capturing people’s raw emotions, beautifully in many different lightings and landscapes! She took our engagement photos and our wedding photos, so it feels like we got to connect with her beautiful soul. She’s sweet, funny, and made us feel incredibly comfortable! She also made us look amazing. We can’t put into words how happy we are that she was able to capture these beautiful moments so we can look back on this day for a lifetime!

Having Ashley photograph our wedding weekend was nothing short of a dream come true! When I first started looking for photographers, her work immediately stood out. Her photos speak for themselves. They are timeless and elegant, and Ashley captures people, light, movement, emotion, and joy so clearly and beautifully. What I love about her photos is they feel vivid and real, and when I look at them, I am brought back to a particular moment and feeling. Beyond the quality of the photos, there are many other things that stood out about working with Ashley.

Firstly, she is responsive, sends super timely communications, and is the easiest person to work with. Everything was really clear and she gave excellent feedback. For example, we really wanted our day to feel relaxed and didn't want to many formal pairings. However, it can be hard to know what is the right number. She helped review or photo pairings list and gave us feedback on how to trim it down. This allowed us to have less time taking formal photos, and more time enjoying our day and getting to relax and enjoy time with guests. She gave us the gift of time!

Secondly, she really listened to us and heard what we wanted. We shared our vision for our photos - natural, candid, in the moment captures of us, as well as our families and friends who traveled far for our wedding. She captured that so perfectly!

Finally, Ashley is kind and warm and exactly the type of person you'd want to spend a weekend with. She isn't pushy at all, but made sure we got the right shots at the right time. There were numerous times throughout the weekend where I thought, "Wow, this would be a great time for a photo" and I looked up and caught eyes with Ashley because she was thinking the same thing. She made me and my husband feel confident in front of the camera, with helpful (and gentle!) feedback on posing.

If you have seen her work, you probably didn't need to even read this review - it really speaks for itself! Amazing quality, amazing person.

Ashley is very friendly and knows how to direct her clients to make beautiful photos. It will be a few weeks before I receive the full album, but the previews she sent me are gorgeous!

Ashley is seriously the best!! We booked her four our wedding in August and that was probably the best decision we could have made!! She makes you feel so comfortable and makes the entire experience fun. Everyone at our wedding had nothing but amazing things to say about her and her photos, she was such a joy to be around, everyone loved her!! I cannot wait to book her again for upcoming photos!! We just LOVE Ashley and Bobby. They are more than wonderful. They made Us feel so comfortable and so good in our own skin. They did a fantastic job! We love our photos so much!

Hiring Ashley as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. I do not even think I can put into words how incredibly grateful I am for her. Not only is she incredibly talented and has such an eye behind the lens, but she is an all-around incredible human. We may not want to admit it but my husband and I are both very self-conscious and self-critical by nature but through working with Ashley, I can say that she has helped me find a newfound confidence. I cannot speak for my husband but he did recently bring up doing another shoot with Ashley so I feel like he would agree with me! Ashley was such a pleasure to work with and to be around that all my friends want to not only hire her for their future wedding and to capture important life moments and milestones, but also just want to hang out with her and be her new best friend. She has this super chill vibe about her but is also so much fun. Our wedding guests also complimented her and her second shooter, Bobby (The Deep Light Co.), for being such great additions to our wedding experience. Bobby is also fantastic so if you hire Ashley, cross your fingers that he is available to second shoot with her! The first thing I ask when I hear that someone got engaged is, “do you have a photographer”, because I want to share Ashley’s magic with every bride to be, couple, family, etc. etc. etc.

As a new fiancee last year, I of course had a vision of exactly how I wanted my wedding pictures to look and as soon as I found Ashley Purple Photography I was immediately hooked. She was exactly what my fiance and I were looking for and we hadn't even met her yet. Shortly after finding her and inquiring about pricing and packages, we were even more excited to meet with her- she is very reasonably priced. Immediately after meeting with her we knew she was our person! Ashley went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our engagement session and of course our wedding day. She made us feel so comfortable to be ourselves around her and we will forever be so appreciative of that because it made our day that much more special. We were 100% at ease in front of the camera because of her warm, sweet personality and it truly came out in our photos. She was willing to do anything to get a good picture, and so were we- that makes for some great photos! :) We are so lucky to have found her and will be forever clients of hers.

My partner and I had such a blast taking photos with Ashley for our wedding. Her and Bob made us feel super comfortable even in a 95+ degree heatwave. She was flexible and more than willing to take a short drive to a nearby lake for golden hour photos, which was a particularly memorable part of our day. Her photos are beautiful and unique. She captures details of the day really nicely. I highly recommend her.
