Shannon was the absolute best! We interviewed several different photographers, but felt immediately connected to Shannon's warm and calm demeanor. She felt like an old friend who we could be silly and honest with. We did a pre-wedding photoshoot (included in our package), which helped us to get to know each other. I highly recommend doing this - it made the day of the wedding feel so much more relaxed. Shannon comes with a bunch of different "prompts" to make sure she captures the emotions you would want to see in your photos. Prior to the wedding, Shannon was very communicative and asked us for all of the shots we wanted. We did not want a ton of posed photos - we were more focused on capturing the feeling of the day since we had a wedding with just 16 people. On the day of the wedding, Shannon went above and beyond. She even checked in to see if we needed anything on her way over- so thoughtful! She did a great job of capturing shots without being disruptive to the flow of the event. I also appreciated that she would fix my hair and dress to ensure our photos were perfect! Shannon photographed our backyard wedding perfectly, making it look like it could be on the cover of a bridal magazine. She captured the emotions of the day (tears, laughter, joy!) and absolutely told our story in the way we hoped for. She has an eye for using natural light to make the subject matter glow. No need to look further - Shannon is an incredible talent!

Shannon was an amazing photographer to work with. She was really able to provide so many services that made our elopement so much easier to plan. She periodically checked in with us leading up to the day of our elopement to make sure there wasn’t anymore more she could help with. We booked Ash + Vine and it saved our wedding day!!! Her energy was awesome! She made us feel comfortable while taking photos! She swept us away to take sunset photos, (which is one of my favorite memories from that night because my husband and I got some special time together). And she stayed to capture all of our favorite people jump in the pool together to end the night! ❤️ We can’t wait to work with her again!!
