Drawing from his 15 years of experience, owner Bob Artman is dedicated to continuing traditions while creating new ones at each wedding. He and his friendly, skilled team will collaborate with you to create a memorable soundtrack for your celebration.

Services Offered

Artman Disc Jockey personally matches DJs to soon-to-be newlyweds, ensuring that they connect well with the entertainer before their big day. Bob invites couples to meet with him to coordinate the flow of their event. Each client is provided with access to the company’s extensive digital library where they can specify which songs they would like to hear. Through carefully curated tracks and the ability to read the crowd, the expert staff can energize any reception. To meet your custom wedding needs, Artman Disc Jockey provides various packages. Their DJs will take care of the delivery and setup, and they always bring back-up equipment in case of technical problems. Microphones are also available for toasts.

Fun, Professional, and Easygoing

Bob was incredible to work with and he knew exactly how to make our day run smoothly. He also took our wacky song requests while still managing to keep everyone on the dance floor. We even had an actual cheesy congo line break out with old and young guests alike - it was amazing. It was truly the best day of my life and I danced the whole night to the best soundtrack!

Awesome music and great MCing

DJ Artman set up lighting that made out ceremony and reception area look classy. He was detailed in everything we wanted during planning and ensured the crowd enjoyed themselves.

Best dj ever

I literally cannot recommend Artman DJ enough. I had no idea what I was doing when I was wedding planning and he was recommended to me. He TURNED THE PARTY. I think the best weddings are a packed dance floor and he killed it! The best songs and had great ideas for what songs to play when. He emceed and kept the guests laughing and dancing. You cannot go wrong with him! 5 stars and two thumbs for real you will not be disappointed.

Bob was amazing! Very professional, and easily read the crowd when playing songs. At one point, I thought people had started leaving already and then realized that everyone was on the dance floor! It was that way most of the night! I highly recommend Bob...he does not disappoint!!!

After being in 5 weddings that Bob hosted over the years, I had the opportunity to hire him for my own! His ability to read the crowd and take charge helps take all the worry away. Our guests danced the night away and and the up lighting added a nice touch to our event!

Bob was recommended to us by our wedding venue (City Club of Washington), but we had also interviewed a few other DJs before choosing him -- a decision that we were very happy with in the end. He was the most humble and down-to-earth, as well as the most reasonably priced, DJ we met. He's very friendly, professional, reliable, and straightforward. He drafts a schedule with you when you first meet, makes changes as needed, and then follows it on the wedding day to make everything run smoothly. He did a good job emceeing our wedding, made fantastic music selections that kept people dancing all night, accommodated all of our requests, and joined us on the floor for a line dance. One guest commented it was one of the most fun weddings he's been to. We would highly recommend booking Bob as your wedding DJ!

Bob was amazing! He provided DJ services for our wedding which was located at the Sheraton in Old Town Alexandria and we couldn't have been more happy. Bob was professional throughout the entire reception and did an excellent job at selecting music that kept the dance floor hoppin'. He was also extremely flexible when it came to last minute changes. I would highly recommend using Bob Artman as your DJ. Thanks Bob!

My wedding would not have been the same if it hadn't been for Bob. My husband and I have very different tastes in music and Bob was able to suit us both perfectly. He did the music for our ceremony, our cocktail hour and our reception. During the reception there wasn't a time that there were't people on the dance floor. The music was very important to me and I couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Bob. We were able to trust him completely; he made sure to account for every possibility. He takes a list of songs that you don't want played, and under no account are they played (someone at my wedding tried very hard, but he honored our wishes). I am SO glad that Bob was part of our wedding celebration, he truly made it a celebration.

Bob Artman made my daughter's reception special with his flexibility and the fun party atmosphere he created with his music and special lighting. He was able to add requested songs in an instant and everyone enjoyed his music by dancing the night away. I highly recommend ArtmanDJs.

Bob Artman was an outstanding DJ for our wedding on August 10. I can't say enough good things about him. My guests are still talking about how wonderful our DJ was!! He knew exactly what type of music to play to get our guests on the dance floor. We gave him a play and do not play list and he stuck to it! I would recommend him a million times over.
