Lara was so great. We absolutely loved her! When you are shopping around and see how much photographers charge, it becomes ridiculous. Lara is so reasonably and fairly priced, something uncommon among wedding photographers. She met with us and showed us her work, which was beautiful. She checked with us many times prior to the wedding and asked what we wanted specifically. We asked for a lot of candids and she did an awesome job at making that happen. On the day of the wedding she was extremely professional and took many great shots throughout the day. She also helped run the day and kept my bridal party organized. She was friendly and polite, and many of my guests did not even notice she was there. She provided us with CDs of our pictures with all the rights so that we could print them or share them whenever which was awesome. She also used photoshop to make some of the photos extra special. She used a mixture of black and white with colored pictures to create some amazing works of art with our wedding pictures. We had over 500 pictures!!! All of them were great and we would recommend her 100% to anyone looking for a professional, talented, and fairly priced photographer!

While the pictures we got were very good, the whole experience would be best if avoided. After discussing the time of the ceremony, and then planning on her being there 30 minutes earlier, when I called her that morning, she had no intention of being there early, she was barely going to leave to get to the church in time to see me walk down the aisle. After a heavy discussion, she said she couldn't leave earlier, because thats what she had planned and so I walked down the aisle late. This would have been fine, if I had gotten all of the pictures that were taken. After we had taken the pictures home, I started to go through them and MANY pictures were missing (us with our family, us walking back down the aisle, any bridesmaids walking down the aisle, and more). We then learned that when she put our pictures into the computer, she didn't save a back up and her hard drive fried. So after we begged she looked, and found, some pictures, but we will never have all of the pictures from the wedding. She did not go through them all and edit some of the little details. They do not take many (if any) candid pictures although they claim to. And at our wedding, she left early, not sure why, but she did. Just to warn others, be careful after the album is made, she tried to charge us 3x the shipping cost to get it shipped to us, after telling us it was part of the package. So although the price looks very good at first, you get what you pay for, there is VERY LITTLE FOLLOW THROUGH with this photographer.
