When my wedding planner presented a few options for photographers, I knew I wanted to narrow it down based on 2 pieces of criteria: first, I knew I needed to like her style of photography, and after browsing her gallery, I fell in love with her classic yet fun way of capturing moments. The second piece we were looking for is personality compatibility; my husband and I are not used to posing for hours, so I knew that we needed someone to make us feel at ease on the other side of the camera. Arlene had us, our wedding party, and families laughing and smiling all day, and you can tell through the photos that it is genuine.

Leading up to the wedding, she was incredibly detailed, making sure she understood our unique quirks as a couple, and had enough conversations with us to understand which shots were the most important to capture. From exact combinations of family photos we didn't want to miss, all the way down to the detail and venue photos, she was incredibly thorough without being redundant or stressful.

Day of, she was such a fun and calming presence, cracking jokes with the wedding party and leaving space for the emotional moments as well. I truly can't thank her enough for helping us execute our vision and be so in the moment during our special day!

She had SUCH a fast turnaround for the initial photos, and the full gallery she gave us is not only stunning, but we have so much content to choose from!

Booking Arlene for our wedding day was genuinely one of the best decision we made with our Fall 2025 wedding! We found Arlene through one of our friends who got married, and when we fell in love with their wedding photos, we knew we had to have Arlene as our wedding photographer! She truly is amazing and worth every penny. We did an engagement shoot with her, as well as our wedding, and I'm obsessed with all the photos! We were nervous before our engagement shoot because we'd never had professional photos taken before as a couple, but Arlene put all our concerns at ease. She also did a fantastic job of directing our large families and large wedding party, which is no small feat!

I found Arlene on Instagram while searching for a photographer with a city aesthetic to match our courthouse wedding, and I’m so glad I did.
