Ardovino’s Desert Crossing is a banquet hall wedding venue in Sunland Park, New Mexico. With over 50 years of history hosting events, this place boasts a charm that makes it ideal for a momentous wedding celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
Whether couples are seeking an outdoor space for their ceremony, or they require an indoor venue for their reception, Ardovino’s Desert Crossing offers both.
On the Camino Real Deck, couples can make their union official overlooking the nearby countryside landscape. With a clear blue sky overhead, couples benefit from a natural ceiling on fine days. Here, the space can be laid out with brilliant white covered chairs, high-back benches, and a floral arch.
The other outside space on offer is the Sunset Patio. Underfoot, red brick paving and a beige-colored aisle draw the eye towards a natural backdrop of lush green trees and sunlit shrubbery. Soft-covered seats can be set out here for your guests to observe the moment you and your significant other say ‘I do’.
Inside, couples and their invited wedding party can make use of Ardovino’s Desert Crossing’s facility. Terracotta-colored flooring, eggshell-cream walls, and stylish silver chairs arranged around circular tables provide a roomy and elegant place for everyone to enjoy the wedding meal and a few beverages.
In addition to offering many basic services such as cleanup and setup, Ardovino’s desert Crossing also provides a number of other convenient services.
First and foremost is the fact that they serve their own cuisine on site. The venue’s staff are happy to create personalized menus for your special event that can sate almost any palate or appetite. By using fresh, local ingredients in many of their dishes, Ardovino’s Desert Crossing restaurant serves food that reflects the locality. Hors d’oeuvres (smoked salmon rolls, mini caprese skewers), buffet meals (beef tenderloin fillet, chicken rosaria), and desserts (creme brulée, cherry crumble) often populate the menu.
In addition to its rich history, which has been building since the early 1900s, there are plenty of other interesting features of this location. For the couple of honor who want to spend the night in the same setting as their ceremony and reception, the Sweet 57 is available. The vintage travel trailer offers a cozy, funky setting for couples to sleep in charming comfort.

My husband And I planned our wedding at Ardovino's Desert Crossing because they have always been one of our favorite restaurants since we began to date. Our experience was amazing since the 1st meeting with Peggy their coordinator. She was helpful, and answered all our questions, and made us feel 100% comfortable and happy with our decision to host our wedding there! Our guest were happy with the food, and and beautiful ambiance! Thank you for everything!Sent on 11/05/2019

Best Venue EVER!!!!!!!!!
This venue is absolutely amazing for any event. We had our ceremony and reception on the Camino Real Sky Deck and it was truly stunning!!!!! The venue itself lends to an amazing scenic backdrop, and the staff there was courteous and professional! Our wedding was seriously the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to, not because it was my own, but because Peggy, the Ardovinos crew, as well as Patrick Carey event planning helped transform that space into the most perfect rustic space for our magical day! The food was exceptional as usual and Marina the owner personally came down to congratulate us before, during, and after the ceremony. I want to recommend EVERYONE to get married there because it was such a wonderful experience 🥰Sent on 10/22/2019
