So very Thankful and happy for everything!
Amazing!! I was referred to Ivette by my best friend whos sister was married by Ivette. I was getting married in 10 days and we had issues with another JP that couldn’t do it anymore. At this point I was so stressed and worried. But when I first talked to Ivette and explained everything to her I was so relieved and happy that she would be able to marry us! I couldn’t believe with such short noticed she was so professional and compassionate about everything, and helped us so much. I felt so comfortable with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone! Always answered my phone calls, text, emails so fast. I can’t stop saying Thank You to her. She definitely saved my day!

Ivette did a fantastic job as JOP at our wedding! She provided us a packet of vow and reading options for our ceremony. It felt like a customized ceremony that was designed especially for us, not just a typical out of the box version. Ivette made us feel special and when we were up there with her it felt as if we were the only people in the world. What bride doesn't want to feel like that on her wedding day!!! I would highly recommend Ivette to anyone who is in need of a JOP at their wedding!

My wedding was in August 2019 and this justice of the peace left a sad mark on the day. I thought she was the perfect match when I met with her beforehand to go over everything. She had 2 pre-written options we could use for our vows, and seeing as our wedding was small and low maintenance I picked one of them. However, I made small adjustments to suit our needs and she agreed to the changes.
Our wedding was a tiny backyard wedding (about 40 people) and so we didn't have a rehearsal or anything like that, but Ivette promised to come a couple hours before guests were to arrive to show the wedding party what to do/ where to stand etc. On the day of my wedding, the time she was supposed to arrive passed. I tried desperately to reach her, panicked. An hour passes. An hour and a half. No word from her and I'm thinking we might have to cancel our wedding. We begin to make arrangements for a cousin to officiate (he hadn't wanted to do it when we asked beforehand because he wanted to enjoy the day,) when Ivette walks in and says to me completely straight-faced "everything's on schedule!" I wanted to cry. Guests had already begun to arrive. Ivette and the wedding party rehearsed as guest's looked on, (which is what I was trying to avoid.)
The ceremony began and I walked down the aisle to stand next to my husband. The words she read from her folder sounded clumsy and unpracticed, which I thought was strange seeing as she was the one who provided the script. She didn't make any of the small changes we requested. She did remember to add on the readings we wanted, however. I don't know if she had an emergency that day, or was maybe sick, or something happened in her life to cause her to stumble, but I was completely thrown for a loop. She seemed so dedicated and professional when we had met previously.
Well, we didn't let our crummy experience ruin our wedding day, and when Ivette emailed me months later asking for a review on here, I deleted the email and decided to just move on. However, when I think about all the joy and love of our wedding day, I still get sad thinking about how we were let down. I don't want to say not to hire her, as it was very possible she was having a bad day, but just be wary. Price was good. That's about it. I had ordered a personalized candle to give to her as a thank you gift, and instead of giving it to her it sits sadly on my closet shelf.
