Alex did my wedding AND maternity, and I have to just keep saying WOW!!!! Her work absolutely speaks for itself, but she is also the sweetest person. She really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and over delivered! She is always completely booked, so book her early!

Aquas Images is truly the best photography around. The photographer Alexis is AMAZING. She provided beautiful, high-quality wedding photos for our Hawaii wedding, all at a very reasonable price, which we appreciated. My husband and I had a fusion Indian and Christian Wedding with four different wedding events and festivities, all photographed perfectly by the talented, creative photographer Alexis. Alexis takes genuine pride in her work, which is why on top of photographing four events over two days, she even volunteered to wake up extra early in the mornings to photograph the Hawaii sunrises for us and worked late into the evening on her days off to photograph the Hawaii sunsets, all for the purpose of including them in our wedding album. Alexis is hard working, down to earth, kind, intelligent, talented, creative, and most importantly delivers extremely high quality photography! My husband and I were really impressed with Aquas Photography, from scheduling, prices, staff, and most importantly, our awesome, beautiful wedding photos that we will be able to cherish thanks to Aquas Photography.

I was so fortunate to finally get a chance to work with this woman. She is always booked and squeezed us in right on time. Aside from the awesome photos, everything about the experience was amazing. I've dealt with low self esteem my whole life and her energy and patience and direction during our shoot made me feel more beautiful than I ever felt. I hung a large portrait she took over my couch. I looked amazing...I felt amazing. Seeing that picture reminds me. Flying her out to our destination wedding in Panama was the BEST decision ever, as she was able to communicate well with others, as well as overcome every challenge that came her way when working in unpredictable environments. So sweet. So passionate about her art. So empathetic to a woman and her body. Timely. I cant say enough. Thank you Alex. I honor those who pursue their passion boldly like you.

Just look at the BBB reviews. She was hired by us. It's been over 8 months and we still have not received all of our pictures, videos, and canvas picture. She still has not resolved this and has stop communicating with us. I would not recommend Alex to anyone. Seems to be a good photographer but does not come through on delivery. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review which I've never done before but avoid at all cost. Look her reviews on Google as well as BBBbefore you book her for your special day. Alexis Beckford is a scam and a thief. Takes people's money and refuses to deliver products or communicate with her clients. Very unprofessional. I booked Alex's wedding package which included an engagement shoot. Fully paid her months before the events. Took forever to finally give my engagement pictures after ignoring my calls, messages and emails. Our wedding was on October 13. Alex stated we would have a sneak peek within 24 to 48 hours and our pictures would be ready by Dec 13. Well, it's almost a month past due and we never received a sneak peek nor our wedding pictures. She has ignored all my messages and even phone calls that I scheduled with her. It's mindblowing that this scam artist is still in business.
How can a vendor not have the mere decency to communicate with her clients to let them know that the product will be later than the contracted date.
We need our wedding pictures asap. Please understand that you are not cheap and we booked you because this is important to us. You deprived us of being able to send thank you cards to our family for the holidays so please give us our wedding pictures as soon as possible. Further legal action will be sought if you do not give us our pictures. We are not going to let you just never return our wedding pictures which is a very memorable day for us. This is so unacceptable.

I booked this photographer to capture photos of my first pregnancy. I was completely overtaken with joy and paid for my session in full in the amount of $978.00 on July 10th; as no new mother fathoms the idea of not eventually holding their sweet new baby. Less than a month later I miscarried my baby at 12 weeks. This was literally the most horrific event I have ever experienced in my life. About a week after the loss of my child, I contacted Alex, the principle photographer and Aquas Images owner, in early August to inform her that I would no longer need the session due to suffering a miscarriage and that I would need to arrange for a refund. She expressed that she herself has experienced fertility issues and agreed to refund my session.

Periodically I would attempt to check in with Alex for the status of my refund, as I never received any funds, but it was to no avail. It was as if she had completely disappeared. I tried emailing, texting, calling, direct messaging on social media; nothing worked. I even had a mutual friend reach out to her, whom coincidentally, she did answer. Mid September, I was blessed with a second pregnancy. Because I still valued Alex’s artistry, I emailed Alex to cancel the refund and apply the funds toward a new session. I never received a response. Within a few weeks I suffered a second heart wrenching miscarriage. I emailed Alex as well as contacted her via Instagram to go ahead and proceed with the refund. She messaged me back via instagram that she would start the refund process on 11/14/18. I have not heard anything from Alex or any representative of Aquas Images since.

As of today, December 22, 2018, I have yet to receive any funds from Aquas Images. As a resolution, I requested a chargeback from my credit card company. Alex contacted my credit card company to dispute the chargeback stating that I was not owed a refund. I was literally brought to tears. Alex agreed to a refund both verbally and in writing. I have not received any photography services. Alex has literally not shot one frame of me; yet feels entitled to a full payment. To think that as a woman and a mother she finds it appropriate to swindle almost $1,000 from a maternity client who has suffered multiple miscarriages is mind boggling to say the very least. I am so disappointed and so deeply saddened. I wouldn’t wish this added insult to injury on anyone and I hope that I can help at least one woman avoid such a disgraceful and unethical photographer.
