Annie was the perfect photographer for our wedding and we were so lucky to have her on our special day! We loved her philosophy and her pictures turned out more beautiful than we could have even imagined. She always encouraged us to be ourselves and that shows in our photos. We feel like the best possible version of ourselves. We also love how she captured the little details that we may have missed as the bride and groom. Annie was an absolute pleasure to work with and we had so many guests complimenting us on how kind she was as well! She is also extremely timely and we were in awe of how quickly we got our photos back. We honestly couldn't recommend Annie more for any event.

We had the absolute best time working with Annie for our wedding! From our engagement photos to the weeks leading up to the big day, Annie was there for us every step of the way with all the tips, recommendations, and advice to help us feel prepared and comfortable in front of the camera. She also photographed our welcome party the night before, capturing moments with friends and family that we didn’t want to miss and getting us into the swing of things being photographed.

Annie’s style was exactly what we wanted—an honest window into the day. We couldn't see ourselves posing for tons of formal photos, so having someone who captures everything in such a candid way was perfect. Every time we look at the photos, we notice little details we missed in the whirlwind of it all. Somehow, Annie seemed to be in all the right places at just the right moments without us even noticing, so we have these amazing memories of conversations and laughter we didn’t even know she’d caught.

Her communication and attention to detail were incredible and took so much pressure off of us. She went above and beyond to make sure we loved our photos. Now the hardest part will be choosing which ones to print and frame!

We can't say enough good things about Annie and her photography! First and most importantly, the photos are incredibly beautiful. As we have said to many people, when we look at our gallery, we are immediately taken back to our wedding day. She captured all of the details so beautifully, from the special items we wore and brought to celebrate with us, to the reactions of all of our guests. We could not be happier with how our day was captured.

However, we also want to shout out Annie's demeanor and ease of communication. She was always so calm and warm, and started every call with asking how we were feeling with the wedding planning process. It seemed that she really wanted to develop a relationship that would make us as comfortable as we could be with her photographing us on the wedding day. My wife and I were quite nervous at the start of this process about being photographed, but all of our calls prior to the day with Annie helped all of our anxiety disappear!

It's easy to look through Annie's photos to see how amazing they are -- I loved her style from the moment I saw her galleries and I was hopeful that our photos would look just as great. Guess what, they are amazing!! She also delivered ALL of our photos in 4 weeks, when she herself got married 2 weeks after us!

Maybe the most important piece of guidance that she gave us was to take as many family photos before the event as possible. That way you can focus on the fun once it starts. And let me tell you -- that was good advice. I didn't want to spend a second on more staged photos once the party had started! We actually got to attend part of our cocktail hour because of this. Of course every event is different, but my point is that she will be able to guide you in the right direction because she has a ton of experience. I loved working with her and you will too!

We first found Annie Hall by word of mouth online and were instantly struck by her work—it stood out from other (excellent) event photography for its humor, dynamism, and emotional truth. Everyone she photographed seemed to pop off the page as a recognizable personality, even though they were complete strangers to us. Her weekend package was out of budget for us and we spent a while looking for other options, but we couldn’t get it out of our heads.

Luckily, in addition to being a brilliant photographer, Annie is an incredibly kind and flexible individual who worked with us on a custom package that fit our needs perfectly. From the moment we first reached out to her, to signing the contract, to receiving the finished gallery, she was prompt, communicative, and considerate, ready with questions we wouldn’t have thought to ask to make the day of as smooth as possible. We also have to shout out the fact that she delivered the finished photos on a remarkably quick two-week turnaround… despite getting married herself the week after we did!

We couldn’t be happier with the end results. We have an album of memories that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives, in a mix of beautiful bold color and expressive black and white. Our venue and decor could have presented challenges to a less confident editor; we had an unusual lighting setup, a mostly indoor reception, and a free-wheeling color palette. In Annie’s hands, all of those things only added to the photos’ visual interest and charm. Our event structure, too, was unconventional, with guests broken up into teams for a cocktail-hour game that spanned nine rooms of the venue—but despite working alone, Annie managed to be everywhere at once and capture everything we couldn’t be there for. On top of that, she was totally unobtrusive and never once made us feel self-conscious or taken out of the moment. We can’t recommend her highly enough. I had the privilege of hiring Annie to shoot my wedding in Glacier National Park and through it all, the one part of the weekend I thankfully never had to worry about was our photography. Annie was there with us surviving covid scares, a nearly lost heirloom, intermittent downpours, and unpaved roads to the venue, all with a smile on her face and snapping away. She was even game when we asked if we could get dressed up again the next day for more photos at all our favorite spots throughout the park. And of course, if you’re here you’ve seen her work and know that it all came out gorgeous. Her attention to detail both before and during the events is unmatched, talking with us multiple times before wedding day to know what we were looking for and what to avoid. She’s an expert at capturing all the off the cuff moments that would have been otherwise lost to time, but also has no issue helping everyone get posed for more formal shots if that’s requested as well. What you end up with are a wonderful blend of the small moments that make the event special and the large ones that are frequently a must for the family. Hiring Annie Hall as our wedding photographer was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. The resulting photographs are just simply amazing. I've looked through our gallery so many times and I am able to relive all the joyous moments from our wedding day.

Just recently, we showed all our photos with family over the holidays and everyone relieved the happy times and commented how wonderful the photos turned out. Annie has a way of capturing the best moments, to be everywhere all at once and yet be invisible at the same time!

Her professionalism from the first day we met her until she delivered the photographs (and she delivered the photos much sooner than expected!), Annie Hall was one of the best vendors we worked with. She shared full galleries with us before making a decision, help us figure out the best photo package for our needs without, followed up with clear emails and processes throughout, listened to our needs and preferences, and on the day of the wedding, was one of the hardest working folks out there! She was everywhere and didn't seem to stop to take photos of all the moments. Annie worked very well with us, our families and friends, and other vendors which made for a smooth and fun wedding and it shows in the photographs!

If you're hesitating because of costs, I highly recommend to cut costs elsewhere and hire Annie as soon as possible because she gets booked up quickly! Annie Hall captured our wedding day so beautifully and authentically. Her documentary style was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer, and we appreciated her calm and kind demeanor.
