Annie was the perfect photographer for our wedding and we were so lucky to have her on our special day! We loved her philosophy and her pictures turned out more beautiful than we could have even imagined. She always encouraged us to be ourselves and that shows in our photos. We feel like the best possible version of ourselves. We also love how she captured the little details that we may have missed as the bride and groom. Annie was an absolute pleasure to work with and we had so many guests complimenting us on how kind she was as well! She is also extremely timely and we were in awe of how quickly we got our photos back. We honestly couldn't recommend Annie more for any event. -

We had the absolute best time working with Annie for our wedding! From our engagement photos to the weeks leading up to the big day, Annie was there for us every step of the way with all the tips, recommendations, and advice to help us feel prepared and comfortable in front of the camera. She also photographed our welcome party the night before, capturing moments with friends and family that we didn’t want to miss and getting us into the swing of things being photographed.
Annie’s style was exactly what we wanted—an honest window into the day. We couldn't see ourselves posing for tons of formal photos, so having someone who captures everything in such a candid way was perfect. Every time we look at the photos, we notice little details we missed in the whirlwind of it all. Somehow, Annie seemed to be in all the right places at just the right moments without us even noticing, so we have these amazing memories of conversations and laughter we didn’t even know she’d caught.
Her communication and attention to detail were incredible and took so much pressure off of us. She went above and beyond to make sure we loved our photos. Now the hardest part will be choosing which ones to print and frame!
We are so very happy with our photos and will be reliving our wedding through her photos for years. Thank you, Annie—you’re the best!

It's easy to look through Annie's photos to see how amazing they are -- I loved her style from the moment I saw her galleries and I was hopeful that our photos would look just as great. Guess what, they are amazing!! She also delivered ALL of our photos in 4 weeks, when she herself got married 2 weeks after us!
Maybe the most important piece of guidance that she gave us was to take as many family photos before the event as possible. That way you can focus on the fun once it starts. And let me tell you -- that was good advice. I didn't want to spend a second on more staged photos once the party had started! We actually got to attend part of our cocktail hour because of this. Of course every event is different, but my point is that she will be able to guide you in the right direction because she has a ton of experience. I loved working with her and you will too! -

Photography Bliss in The Crown of the Continent
I had the privilege of hiring Annie to shoot my wedding in Glacier National Park and through it all, the one part of the weekend I thankfully never had to worry about was our photography. Annie was there with us surviving covid scares, a nearly lost heirloom, intermittent downpours, and unpaved roads to the venue, all with a smile on her face and snapping away. She was even game when we asked if we could get dressed up again the next day for more photos at all our favorite spots throughout the park. And of course, if you’re here you’ve seen her work and know that it all came out gorgeous. Her attention to detail both before and during the events is unmatched, talking with us multiple times before wedding day to know what we were looking for and what to avoid. She’s an expert at capturing all the off the cuff moments that would have been otherwise lost to time, but also has no issue helping everyone get posed for more formal shots if that’s requested as well. What you end up with are a wonderful blend of the small moments that make the event special and the large ones that are frequently a must for the family. And in our case, some stunning portraits in our favorite National Park that we’ll cherish forever. Thank you again Annie, for the photos and your friendship. -

Hiring Annie Hall as our wedding photographer was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. The resulting photographs are just simply amazing. I've looked through our gallery so many times and I am able to relive all the joyous moments from our wedding day.
Just recently, we showed all our photos with family over the holidays and everyone relieved the happy times and commented how wonderful the photos turned out. Annie has a way of capturing the best moments, to be everywhere all at once and yet be invisible at the same time!
Her professionalism from the first day we met her until she delivered the photographs (and she delivered the photos much sooner than expected!), Annie Hall was one of the best vendors we worked with. She shared full galleries with us before making a decision, help us figure out the best photo package for our needs without, followed up with clear emails and processes throughout, listened to our needs and preferences, and on the day of the wedding, was one of the hardest working folks out there! She was everywhere and didn't seem to stop to take photos of all the moments. Annie worked very well with us, our families and friends, and other vendors which made for a smooth and fun wedding and it shows in the photographs!
If you're hesitating because of costs, I highly recommend to cut costs elsewhere and hire Annie as soon as possible because she gets booked up quickly! My only regret was not having her at our rehearsal dinner and other pre-wedding events. Don't make the same mistake, get Annie Hall as your photographer today! -

Annie Hall captured our wedding day so beautifully and authentically. Her documentary style was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer, and we appreciated her calm and kind demeanor. We always felt comfortable with her, from meeting her on our first Zoom call to taking our wedding portraits. And she also was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process—she’s responsive, punctual, and organized. We also highly recommend doing an engagement session with her. It was a great opportunity to meet her in person, get used to her style, chat about our wedding plans, and get to know her on a personal level. We’re both a bit camera shy but we were so at ease with Annie.
The portraits she took of us, our families, and our wedding party are of course gorgeous, but the photos we especially treasure are all the incredible, candid shots of our guests—she truly captured the overall feeling of the day. All of the photos are so true to our experience, and we are so grateful. Thank you so much, Annie! -

We hired Annie Hall Photography for our wedding and engagement photos, and all I can say is: hire Annie Hall!!!
She’s an incredible photographer, capable of capturing all the photos you could want or need from your event. More than that, she’s an incredible listener, helping to understand your vision and bring it to life. Annie captured the most special moments at our wedding; jokes between my husband and his grandfather, my dad spinning me during our father daughter dance, old friends laughing raucously over a perfectly timed joke. Her aesthetic is cool, clean and classic. We’ll we cherish the photos for the rest of our lives but the best part was that it felt completely natural to get them. We never felt too posed, Annie just always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. She was flexible, helping us meet all our goals (so many family portraits!) but also have fun! My husband notoriously hates having his photo taken and even he had a good time with Annie at the helm. If you’re looking for authentic, sincere photos that capture your unique moments without the fuss, hiring Annie is an obvious choice! -

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Annie from first introductions to the final photo gallery. At the outset, she explained her style and asked all the right questions about our priorities and values. By the wedding day, we knew we were in good hands. Even still, her work exceeded our expectations. Annie has a kind and calming presence and a true gift for capturing the human experience in an image. I have loved Annie’s work for years and was absolutely thrilled to have her photograph our wedding. Leading up to the wedding she communicated well, was very professional, and took the time to make sure she knew what we wanted from the day. She helped us a lot in making our timeline, was thoughtful about making sure we were never rushed, and ensured we had time to decompress alone which was very important to us. On the day she was calming, unobtrusive, and put everyone at ease. I cannot speak enough to how happy we were with the photos that she captured. She did a great job keeping track of and making sure we got all the posed family/wedding party photos that we asked for. I loved that she paid attention to details such as making sure there were not strange gaps or a shadow wasn’t hitting someone’s face. Where she really shines, though, is in her candid work. She’s able to not only notice special moments quickly enough to get her camera up, but also captures them in a beautiful and organic way. Each of her photos is truly a work of art. Annie approached our wedding not as a structured ceremony filled with prescribed shots, but as a day when we could celebrate and create memories with loved ones. Through her photos I am able to relive that day and remember not only what happened, but how I felt. Annie creates photos that feel very human, unique, and one of a kind that truly represented a day that meant so much to us. I cannot recommend her enough! -

Annie’s work will be with us for our lifetime, and we are incredibly grateful for her beautiful photographs of our engagement, welcome reception, and wedding! Annie is prompt, professional, and has a gift for capturing both the big and little moments that define the day. We have some beautiful portraits for framing and display, and we have so many pictures of all our guests being present in the day. Looking at them is like being transported to that time we were surrounded by so much love and joy—exactly what we wanted our photos to do. This review is very long overdue, but here it is finally!
Annie photographed my partner and I's wedding last October of 2021. She made the day so special and it would not have been the same without her! I stumbled upon her work while searching through so many photographers, and what really caught my attention were her family portraits. They were really emotional for me to look at, and I knew that that same eye and feeling would translate to wedding photography...and I did see it when I looked! Annie's style is non-invasive and observational so that nothing is faked and everything is organic. It's a truly special gift and it was so wonderful to have had the pleasure of Annie to capture all of our special moments that made the whole day. She's professional, and my partner and I turned out to love the final touch of offering a wedding book more than we thought we would! So much care went into it from Annie, it was obvious and it's so clear that she absolutely loves what she does. I'm so grateful to have found her, and I look forward to working with her again in the future for some family photos with our growing family. Thank you SO much Annie! -

Two words: Hire Annie. She is amazing. We hired her for our October 2021 wedding, and were absolutely blown away by the way she captured it. Photo after photo of authentic emotion and special moments, and a body of work that truly captured the way our day moved and felt.
We knew we wanted a documentary-style photographer for our wedding and were considering a few when we came across Annie’s portfolio. One thing that stood out to us immediately is that her photos have a lot of energy and dynamism — they almost feel alive. We scheduled a consult with her and immediately felt comfortable with her and like we could be ourselves, even through Zoom. The only reservation we had is that she came across a bit quiet, borderline shy, and we wondered whether she would be able to corral people as needed on the big day.
The answer was yes. She did a great job with the few (but important) staged group shots we wanted. And the rest of the time her quieter demeanor ended up being a major strength; in looking at the photos after the wedding, we (and our parents, wedding party, and some guests) said time and again, “I don’t even remember her being there in that moment!” She really blended in, in the best possible way. Outside of the formal portraits, not once did she stage a shot, ask people to pose, interrupt a conversation, etc. She just quietly watched and witnessed, capturing everything with a keen eye, excellent sense of timing, and a lot of patience. And I absolutely love what she captured: everything from tender, emotional, cherished moments to what other photographers might have considered “bloopers” and not even shown us (such as a picky eater perplexed by an appetizer, kids rolling around on the lobby floor, or my uncle dozing during the speeches).
We will forever treasure the photos Annie and her second photographer, Mary, took of our wedding. They are more and better than our wildest dreams, and our only problem will be choosing which ones to frame! (What an excellent problem to have!) And she was just as great with the non-photo stuff: she was a clear and prompt communicator; booking, contract-signing, and payment were all through an easy online portal; and she delivered previews, a slideshow, and the full gallery way faster than we’d imagined. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat for any special-occasion photography, and highly recommend her to everyone. -

We LOVED working with Annie. She is an unbelievable photographer and such a wonderful person to work with in general. I can't imagine having any other photographer for our wedding. Our photos are spectacular - everyone is blown away by them - they truly captured how the day felt to us and feel so true to us and to the event.
I did a lot of research on photographers. My partner and I were not crazy about much of what we saw coming into the process --- we have low tolerance for posing or what we personally find to be excessive styling (though in the end we wanted to take a limited number of portraits and treasure them now - they came out beautifully and are really special which is in part because the process of taking them was fun and relaxing with Annie, so the short session felt like a sweet part of the day and is a nice memory now - the last moments before we were married); but overall we didn't want to spend the day thinking about how we / it was being captured. When we saw her photos we knew her style was what we were looking for both in terms of the documentary - style candids and her editing preferences in terms of color balance. We loved her style coming into the process but I can't even tell you how incredible and different it is to see her photos when they are *you*; reflecting something so personal to you. I am tearing up just thinking about how much I love our wedding photos.
Also - Annie is incredibly professional; instantly responsive & communicative about various questions that arose leading up to the wedding; and she turned the photos around after the event FAST. She's remarkably stealthy - multiple friends and family mentioned that she was 'everywhere but nowhere' - she was definitely everywhere because it's ALL there, but she has an uncanny ability to camouflage into the crowd and it *really* comes through in the authenticity of expression that she captures - this is definitely part of her magic. And she's such a nice person, we just adored working with her on a personal level too. We feel so lucky that we were able to hire someone with such a distinct perspective as Annie's to capture our wedding and can't recommend working with her more highly!! -

Annie was such a pleasure to work with and we feel extremely lucky that we found her to be our photographer.
Annie's documentary style and kind demeanor perfectly matched the vision and vibe we were going for, and her ability to work with all the crazy, changing conditions of the day due to a huge storm, power outages etc was so appreciated.
So many different people approached us saying how pleasant it was to work with her as the photographer, and she truly helped make our day absolutely perfect.
We just received the photos and they instantly had us crying, laughing and so so happy reliving the day. The photos are gorgeous and sincerely capture the mood and important moments of the day. Don't look any further if this is the type of photographer you are looking for on your big day! -

Annie delivered all around!
Annie was such a pleasure to work with! We hired her for our small 2020 wedding and again for our larger, postponed reception in 2021. She was very understanding and flexible during the entire process. What first attracted us to her work was her ability to capture the moments that told the story of the day, not just a portfolio of staged photos. My husband does not like to be in the spotlight and can be awkward in photos. Annie made everyone feel comfortable and nabbed fantastic photos where everyone looked great--and she was very discreet while shooting. My family still talks about how great she was to work with. On top of all that, the photos she delivered were stunning! We got back so many wonderful shots. And the walnut box we received as part of our photography package was even better quality than I expected. Thank you Annie, for being so kind and professional from start to finish! -
