During the wedding Andre and his assistant Jackson were absolutely thoughtful and timely while capturing photos of us, the bridal party, and all our guests. They were skilled with posing us during the bride and groom photoshoot while keeping us comfortable and natural. They were so kind and sensed when we should take breaks throughout the day.

Andre delivered highlight photos the night of our wedding, which was amazing turnaround, and then delivered the full album in less than 2 weeks. His photos are the highest quality and his price point is affordable.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. I'm generally not the type that is good at acting natural for photoshoots, but Andre and Jackson were so good at their jobs that I actually felt really comfortable and had a lot of fun getting my photo taken with my partner. On the day of, Andre first came to Drybar and my home to take photos of me and my bridesmaids as we got ready, and Jackson went with my partner and his groomsmen and even did a fun impromptu photoshoot of them in the hotel's fitness center haha. During the wedding itself, they were professional and efficient with capturing photos of us, our wedding party, and our guests - and also found time to pull us aside for sunset photos! They went above and beyond - even helping to hold up some impromptu lighting during the toasts (it was getting dark and we hadn't thought to have lights on the person speaking!)

Andre and Jackson both had such warm and positive energy - they really fit right into the vibe of our wedding and were such wonderful presences to have. I really appreciated their guidance through the photo process AND their artistic vision was also SO good.

Andre also sent us some highlight photos immediately after the wedding, which was such an unexpected treat, and we received the rest of the collection (including a slideshow with music of our day!) one month later.

I first met Andre back in 2013 when he was my brother's wedding photographer and since then, he's kind of become the family wedding photographer. Throughout the years, Andre's work has been incredibly exceptional and I couldn't wait for the day that I can hire him as my own wedding photographer!

That day was supposed to be last year but due to COVID, we had to postpone a year. Andre was amazing throughout the COVID situation and stayed flexible to our plans. He was one of the few vendors that moved our date into 2021 and was always super friendly in all our communications.

Fast forward to wedding day, Andre and Jackson were an exceptional team! They started the day as the wedding party was getting ready and knew what to do, how to get the pictures / lighting they wanted without really having to ask us anything. It was boss status and exactly what we wanted with our vendor team! Throughout the day, they kept checking in to make sure we were okay, if we needed breaks from taking pictures, or if there was anything they could get us. They were beyond exceptional and even as we went to do sunset pictures, my wedding dress had foxtail stuck to the bottom. They knew I had a dog at the wedding so they started helping pull out the foxtails as much as they possibly could!

I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Andre again and again for wedding photography. The pictures came out so beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. You definitely won't regret this choice!

Much belated review for Andre Nguyen as our wedding photographer! He and Tony (his co-pilot) shared over 12-13 hours with us on our wedding day in May 2019. We had two locations. First was a traditional Vietnamese-Chinese tea ceremony for 80+ relatives and close friends at our home, and Andre was able to capture beautiful shots of all the detail and work we put in to decorate our home and altar. Second part was our outdoor ceremony and reception at Ardenwood Historic Farm. He was able to blend in smoothly with our boisterous families, and made everyone at ease and smiling happily. His candid shots helped us catch all the small moments we may have missed being the busy B&G. The photos were gorgeous and captured how magical Ardenwood was! In addition, the shots were not cheesy and dated. Lots of artistic details and focused on many of the handmade items I had created. He had talked with us via phone a few times leading up to the wedding day, so I think he could get a sense of who we are as a couple and our vibes. Our photos showed how much lighthearted humor we shared with our guests and with each other. Even the night time shots of us dancing and cheering with our friends were perfectly captured and great resolution. He got back to us with the photos within 3 weeks despite being super busy and booked for most weekends. He was a professional through and through! We highly recommend Andre! ❤️

Andre is absolutely amazing! I honestly couldn't imagine having anyone else photograph our wedding after the phenomenal job he did. He was incredibly personable throughout the entire process and took absolutely amazing photos!

Andre is SO AWESOME! Both as a photographer & as a person. Our first impression upon meeting him was how friendly & down to earth he is. He is super easy to talk to, personable, & will constantly make you laugh. This was super important to us, as we wanted a photographer who could make us (and our guests!) feel comfortable & make us smile naturally during the entire wedding day. And of course, he is so creative and talented - he does an amazing job capturing both the scenery & the people at the same time. His assistant was his brother, and they worked very well together, which is important. Prior to the wedding, he was super patient in addressing all our questions/concerns & made sure to note all our opinions/requests. And you can tell he cares more about ensuring he captures all the moments of the day, rather than rushing to stick to a clock/schedule (he even came earlier & stayed later than what we requested). On top of all that, he pretty much ran our wedding day - he helped guide us from getting ready to our wedding party photo shoots, and during the cocktail hour/reception, he led us to line up for our grand entrance & led table rounds. We honestly don’t know how the day would’ve flowed without him! Even though we had a separate wedding coordinator, we felt like HE was the coordinator! We were SO impressed and forever grateful to him for making our wedding day FUN & memorable! He’s very responsive, detailed, & organized… and even gave us some photo highlights the same night of our wedding! All our family & friends LOVED his photos & kept raving about what a great photographer he was, even weeks after the wedding. We’d highly recommend him to anyone!

Choosing Andre was truly the easiest joint decision my husband and I made during the wedding planning process! (In fact, it was the only true opinion my husband had the entire process - he wanted to work with Andre and would're rescheduled our wedding if he wasn't available, lol.) We wanted someone whose photos were REAL, captured emotions/the people we loved, and someone who was able to capture our overall energy/vibe. Andre brought great energy to our engagement photo shoot and had the photos ready a few days later. He was flexible when we were late, the weather wasn't cooperating, and our dogs decided to do their own thing.

On the day of the wedding, Andre and Antoine showed up with ENERGY and stayed with that same energy flow the entire day. They were EVERYWHERE - following us around as we greeted our friends, capturing intimate details that we didn't realize, etc. They were super professional, SO FUNNY, pay such great attention to detail, and so, so, so, so good at managing their time (seriously!). Huge family photos are never fun (and somewhat tedious), but they were able to keep us focused/on task and got the pics done quickly so we could enjoy cocktail hour. Also - my dad was THRILLED, as some wedding pics were ready at the conclusion of our wedding (aka - parents can post on facebook that night).

I've already sent his info to a few friends and can't believe I forgot to share on wedding wire.. we couldn't recommend Andre and his team enough!!

We absolutely loved working with Andre and his brother Antoine!

We had only chatted with Andre before our wedding day over video chat but could already tell how fun and easy going Andre was! Meeting him in person, we immediately knew we picked the right guy and it felt like hanging out with a friend all day long. He and his brother brought so much energy to the day and had us consistently laughing throughout which made our big day so much fun. We're definitely generally awkward when it comes to taking photos but Andre and Antoine made us feel so comfortable and we were completely blown away by all the photos. Not to mention, Andre had an incredible turnaround time with the photos. It hasn't even been 2 weeks since our wedding and we've already gotten all of our photos back!

This review is deserved and highly necessary. People need to know about our experience with Andre. We were fortunate to work with Andre for our engagement shoot. He was one of the first people we booked. I've known him for close to 20 years now and he's always been a great guy -- positive, upbeat, welcoming and friendly. He was very communicative leading up to our engagement shoot -- letting us know of places we should shoot, how the weather is forecasted to be, if a place is dog-friendly (because we wanted our kids to be in the pictures), etc. We have been planning this for months and finally the day has come to do our engagement shoot. Everything was predicted to be perfect: weather is supposed to be nice, it's going to be sunny, we have slaves -- I mean family members -- tagging along to help us with our dogs and hold our bags. We get to the destination and it's gloomy, freezing, and with tornado winds (my hair was ruined in a matter of minutes). It also appears that the date we chose seems to be the chosen date for everyone to visit these locations. But nonetheless, Andre was able to work his magic and shoot around the people. You would never know by looking at our photos that there were tons of people swarming around us. He was able to work with the fierce winds and take magnificent pictures in which my hair looked like it was purposely flying this way and my dress was gracefully flowing that way. He was also able to capture tons of pictures of my dogs (who were anxious and complete monsters) to make them look like they were posing in the pictures with us, when in reality we were wrestling with them to keep them still enough for Andre to shoot them. To be honest, we weren't really posing. We were just being ourselves while he snapped away. He even got behind the scenes pictures of my sister and my fiance's cousin while they were helping out during our shoot.

Our shoot with Andre was on Sunday. Today is Tuesday. Not only was he able to provide us with some sneak peaks, he surprised us by providing us with our complete collection of fully edited engagement photos, all within less than 48 hours. If that's not amazing, I don't know what is.

Andre, you have been an amazing friend for the past 20 years. This week, I found out how equally amazing you are on a professional level. Thank you so much for everything you've done. I look forward to having you shoot our wedding later this year.

We chose Andre because we really liked his photography.. How he captured all sorts of good moments, the style/feel of the photos. It was especially important that the night photos would be good as well given our venue was outdoors and carried into the night. This was important because some photographers do very well for day shots, but subpar for night shots and sometimes this is overlooked when you're trying to narrow things down. Andre knows this as well, an even provides a long questionnaire that you should be asking a photographer.. Basically, he's giving himself no leeway for a potential customer to overlook, which means he's confident in himself and his team.

Also, Andre was very communicative and clear with all the details during the initial meet & greet, the video/phone calls we had as well as the days leading up to the day and after. The day of we met Tony, his partner in crime and he too was awesome. While taking photos, we had some good conversations about random topics and he did a great job of getting us into the moment and capturing those moments. You sometimes think photographers just take photos and somehow make it all great in post, but really it's more than that. Theres a social aspect to it as well, and it takes some effort to help set the tone, mood, vibe, whatever you want to call it, which helps a whole lot in getting great photos. Tony and Andre are guys we'd definitely hang out with outside of all this and even our videographer from a separate company remembered them... That tells you they leave an impression and a good one at that from working together once before.
