I've known Sarah for over 10 years (we went to college together), and she's always been one of the most organized people I've ever known. When my husband proposed a couple years ago, I immediately knew we needed to hire Sarah to help make our big day run as smoothly as possible even though she lived in a different city.

During our planning process, Sarah took the time to understand our vision and helped organize it into a way that was digestible for us to process. There are SO many moving parts to planning a wedding, and she made the pieces all go together seamlessly.

On the day of our wedding, Sarah was somehow in 15 places at once, making sure everything was set up properly and that all events were executed at the right time. We didn't have to worry about anything except for eating and having a good time with our guests.

The Amyot Events team was extremely professional, cool calm and collected. We worked with them as a day of coordinator. They helped us navigate vendors, suggested better/easier ways of doing things, and even helped us brainstorm solutions to potentially awkward family scenarios. For the rehearsal and day of the wedding, they helped our day go by super super smoothly and brought our vision to life. Someone described communications as “an iron fist in a velvet glove,” which is exactly what we wanted and needed - kind and courteous and firm - in a day of coordinator for our wedding!

Sarah was our day of wedding coordinator and we are so lucky she was there with us throughout our special day. We came to Sarah with our vision and she was supportive about the ideas we had and truly saw and executed our vision. Prior to the day she throughly documented the wedding timeline, vendor info, and became the point of contact for our vendors which we truly appreciated. Sarah is so professional and kind and you can tell she really enjoys this work. Throughout the wedding she made sure we were on time, our vendors were set, and all the pieces were in place. We had a ton of “behind the scenes” laughs and she even took some amazing pictures of us on her own. We even had several people asking us for her contact info as they saw how organized and thorough she and her assistant were at the wedding. When my wife and I first started our planning, we were a bit overwhelmed, especially since both of us are in the military and were not living in the same place. We liked how Sarah offered a lot of flexibility with different levels of service, anywhere from A La Carte Services and Day-Of Coordination to Full Services from start to finish. We decided to go forward with the "Petite Service" since we were less than 6 months out and had already figured out the big things like the venue, catering, and entertainment. She helped immensely with providing vender recommendations, coordinating with them, giving design ideas, building the timeline, and filling all of the little things we never would have thought about. Throughout the process, we weren't afraid to text her any little questions we had, and she always responded quickly and effectively. She was also very flexible with planning meetings; we would constantly need to make last minute changes and meet at random hours of the day as we had to fit them in with our inconsistent work schedules. On the day of the wedding, Sarah and her assistant made everything run smoothly, and we could not have asked for a better wedding. Simply knowing she was there to take care of any fires that may have come up took a lot of weight off our shoulders, and it really let us enjoy the event. We are so glad that we chose Sarah as our wedding planner, and we would highly recommend Sarah to anyone who wants an amazing wedding!

We had such a great experience with Sarah! She was attentive, easy to work with and so professional. She provided anything and everything we needed all the way down to supplying the lighters for our sparklers. If something "went wrong" leading up to the wedding or on the wedding day, my husband and I couldn't even notice because Sarah took care of it all! We chose to do month of planning through the wedding and it felt like Sarah had been there when we started planning back in 2020. She came in and took charge of everything we wanted her to and kept u ass involved as we wanted. Our wedding day would not have been the same without her. We highly recommend Sarah based on our experience with her as our day-of coordinator for our wedding in Washington, DC in March of 2022! She's really much more than a day-of coordinator, because beginning two months ahead of our wedding, Sarah helped tie off all the loose ends and make sure everything was set for our wedding. She spent more time than she needed to talking through a decisions with me and game-planning to make sure I wasn't too anxious. Our wedding had several DIY elements from setting up our own decor and flowers (not simple arrangements, either) to bringing in our own alcohol, and Sarah made everything look so beautiful! Throughout the process, she was easy to work with and so pleasant, and really made us feel like she was doing this because she cared about making her clients' weddings special. It was a really welcome feeling for us at a time when the whole wedding industry is so turned upside down.

For other engaged people considering whether or not to hire a day-of coordinator, 100% DO IT, and make it Sarah. I put so much work into the frontend planning our wedding, I literally can't imagine if I had had to be running the show day-of. I've been in several weddings where the couple didn't hire a coordinator, and all of them wish they had. There's no chance you'll regret having someone like Sarah making sure the trains run on time (and much more) so you can focus on your partner, family, and friends.

Better yet, Sarah's prices are such a good value, make your wedding planning process much more enjoyable and hire her for partial or full planning. I consider myself to be very organized, but by the time my wedding came around I was so tired of making decisions and spending every waking moment moment on wedding stuff. If I could change one thing about our experience with Sarah, I'd have hired her for the partial package instead!

I worked with Sarah Amyot recently on a styled shoot where she used some of our rentals and it was an absolute joy! Sarah is organized, responsive, and easy to work with. I highly recommend her for any event!

Sarah managed all the details of bringing the bride's vision to life for both the wedding and rehearsal dinner. She had beautiful ideas and sourced vendors to make them work. In addition, Sarah was a joy to work with. For an outdoor wedding in November with less-than-ideal weather, she adapted and made it work very seamlessly. I highly recommend and would definitely use her again to help plan any event.
