Celebrating 20 Years as Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties' Premier Mobile DJ Service - specializing in music for Weddings & Receptions

We're not like other entertainment companies. We send out TWO people to your event, not just one! You get an Emcee to handle all the coordination and making all the announcements AND a disc jockey to play music, take requests from your guests and monitor sound levels. Someone will ALWAYS be at the music console to give you the piece of mind that you need on your special day!

We're not a large 'multi-op' that won't let you meet your Emcee/DJ until the last minute! When you meet with us, you meet with the OWNERS of the company and when you hire us, you can be assured that one of the owners will be at your event - not some subcontracted person(s).

We specialize in WEDDINGS and other 'elegant' events. We don't do kids parties, school dances, raves, frats, sweet 16's, mitzvah's or the like. We leave those to the others that might specialize in them. Over 90% of our business is Wedding Receptions, the other 10%? Corporate events, Holiday parties, Anniversary celebrations and other elegant affairs.

Some may SAY they specialize in Weddings... Test them out... Call them up and ask them if they specialize in "kids parties" or "sweet 16's" or such... If they say they do, then they probably don't specialize in anything! Then call us and ask us... You already know the answer... In fact, if you are looking for those kinds of DJs we will be happy to refer you to those that ARE specialists in those areas...

Call us and schedule a meeting (no cost and NO pressure) and we'll sit down and go over all the details and design a custom package just for you. After all, you shouldn't have to pay for things you DON'T want, right? Sometimes a package isn't really a package, it's just a way for someone to charge more. We won't do that to you! With Amazing Sounds you will get what was promised at the price quoted on your agreement.

Amazing sounds was just that Amazing! Debbie was such a professional from the first time we met with her. She coordinated every step and thought of many things we did not think of. She made my daughters day perfect. They encouraged and engaged everyone at the wedding and were on top of every step to ensure we had time for every perfect detail. They made sure every guest had a great time. My daughters wedding was so special compared to my son's wedding 2 years ago when we hired a different DJ and wedding planner. Amazing Sounds made an Amazing difference.

When I started looking for my vendors, my friends told me I should be careful because you really do get what you pay for, and this kind of scared me and I really thought the worst.

And than I called Amazing Sounds. As soon as I started talking with Debbie (who I later found out was one of the owners of the company), I really felt at ease. She sounded like she really cared about me and what I wanted. And I knew that I found the right DJ for my wedding. During our planning both her and her husband made lots of suggestions, and not just about the music, but how to save money too.

What was so great was, I didn't think my family liked to dance and boy was I wrong. Everybody was out there, even my Uncle John was dancing and he never dances.

Thanks to Amazing Sounds, my husband and I will remember the tons of fun.

As the Father of the Bride, I found Amazing Sounds really was AMAZING! Debbie's coordination was absolutely invaluable in helping make sure everything ran smoothly. She always had her bag of tricks - which seemed to be full of everything. When my wife's dress hem fell out right before the wedding, Debbie fixed it. During the reception, the caterer forgot matches to light the burners under the banquet food...she had a lighter. She really helped my daughter stay calm as she was walking down the aisle. Debbie really was a god send.

And than there was her husband, Alan who was our MC. Not only was he fun and entertaining, he always knew when to get her friends involved and when to just let the music do it for him. And the music was great. They played songs that everybody really enjoyed - the dance floor was packed all night.

Would I recommend Amazing Sounds to my family and friends? We already hired them for our Holiday Party. Thanks Alan and Debbie for making such great memories...you really are Amazing!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amazing Sounds. From start to finish they were there for us. Debbie met with us and really got to know us as a couple. At the end of our meeting it was like she had some magical ability to pick the perfect song that represented us as a couple. I have not had an easier or more pleasant experience. Amazing Sounds made our wedding so seamless and fantastic, I could not imagine it going as well as it did if there were not there. I was so at ease knowing they knew the plan that I could really enjoy everything. I never even saw them arrive or set up, they just came in and did their thing, but I knew Debbie was there and taking care of everything. She orchestrated our entrance in the cars with precision, and the timing on all the ceremony music was perfect. When we got to the reception she had us sit down and enjoy a moment together as a just married couple as the song finished playing before our grand entrance. Throughout the entire reception Debbie kept me informed as to what was going on and where we were in the schedule. She stressed that we should enjoy the food and made sure we ate and drank. She was a phenomenal MC, never long winded but when she spoke, everyone listened up. They played the perfect music, everything we asked for. They are incredibly organized. When you sit down and meet with them she goes through everything to learn your likes and dislikes, and they really do stick to that. They are also there as a great resource for advice. I could go on and on but I have said to everyone I come across and will say it again: I highly, highly recommend Amazing Sounds to any and everyone who is getting married. They made our day!

The Best! Our wedding guests just absolutely loved them! Nobody was ever bored or went home early and the majority of our guests were just burning up the dance floor. This husband and wife DJ/emcee team is just amazing. They took care of the reception entertainment from beginning to end with zero glitches and zero awkward moments. They filled in all the blank spaces with good humor and just good old fashioned entertainment. They were tuned in to the mood of the crowd every minute and adjusted accordingly. And Debbie, our emcee/reception coordinator, was just an absolute joy to work with. She was very motherly and made sure to check in with us from time to time at the reception - and she and her husband, Allan, just took the reception from wonderful to awesome. Two thumbs up!!!!

Amazing! That's an understatement! It is really hard to describe Alan and Debbie because I can't think of enough positive words to say. Let’s start with Debbie my wedding therapist and angel. We were going to use them exclusively for the music but after speaking with her about the coordination aspect and made me realize to that I needed her not only for her knowledge but for peace of mind. I don't think we could have made a better decision about choosing any vendor for our special day. She is always prompt, knowledgeable, and caring whenever we need her. She has been my eyes and ears during this process and has kept me from becoming GROOMZILLA as I have planned the entire wedding so that my bride could enjoy herself and have minimal stress. Alan as a person and DJ are awesome! He has a great sense of humor and really knows his music. He has put as much thought and care into our music selection as I believe he did in their wedding BTW they are married. He has been there for me to talk to and to give advice to me not only regarding music but keeping the wife happy as well. Hiring this glorious talented couple was the best thing we did for our wedding. Even with all the craziness at the ceremony with the ocean literally flooding our site and the Bride being over a hour late Debbie held it together. These guys are just great! They had all the latest music that George and I like and also lots of older stuff that my family just loves to dance too. They were a little higher than we had budgeted for originally, but for getting both a disc jockey and a master of ceremonies for the same price, we were able to skip hiring a day of coordinator which made them more than worth it in the long run. They were worth every penny and more. John rocked the house and Allen coordinated everything so well that even my uncle (who was our photographer) commented on how great it was to be part of the team. He does weddings (pics) in Michigan if you need a good photographer, let me know.

Allen and John did a fabulous job! They kept the dancefloor packed the hole nite long. I could not believe seeing my grandmother up there dancing to hip-hop too. She said she had so much fun. my only problem with them would be to say that they used all the "clean" versions of the songs instead of the originals that we all know the real words for it. But that isnt so bad I guess because at least they had all of our music anyway. I would recommend them to my freinds for sure and I know when my brother gets married next year my parents are going to use you.

Amazing sounds was great. they listened to our choices for music without trying to talk us into something else (like another dj did to my sisters wedding). they rocked the house and kept everyone dancing and having fun all night and they even stayed an extra hour because we wanted to dance more and debra said not a problem and that it would cost more but we didnt care becuase they were great
