Amavi is a South Florida based luxury wedding studio offering photo and video for engagements, elopements and weddings. Our team is equipped to travel anywhere to capture your love story, specializing in true to color and in the moment beautiful captures of your day. Our skilled team assists in creating a timeline for your day to best customize our services to your needs, since your day is unique to you. We pride ourselves in being a team that is easy to work with, friendly, communicative and capable of timely delivery of your precious pictures, with a set of preview photos given within a week of your day.

Each of our visual artists is trained in both mediums of photo and video, in order to create a seamless experience for you, and produce cohesive and stunning results. We believe our craft is a delicate one, and your most emotional and heart-stirring moments are best encapsulated in striking stills and captivating video. To produce the enduring and elevated artwork we promise, we work with clients who allow us to capture their love story through joint mediums of photo and video.

The most incredible photography/video experience for our special day!

Shelby and her team did an unbelievable job. Their attention to detail, timeliness, and creativity exceeded our expectations. They took our shot list and brought it to life---and when we got our photo and video back, there were lots of happy tears and chills reliving our best day ever. Most importantly, they made us feel comfortable and had ideas to capture certain moments in a way that was beyond our wildest dreams. If you are looking for a creator that not only is incredibly talented but also is an expert communicator and executes what was discussed, look no further. Amazing experience!

Shelby and her team shot our engagement and wedding photos! From start to finish, working with Shelby & her team was a great experience. She was very flexible to work with and her team was professional and fun! We got our photos back quickly and we LOVED our photos. She truly captured exactly what I had envisioned. I absolutely recommend!!!!

The most AMAZING team I've ever worked with

I absolutely adore AMAVI photography and their team. I used them for both my engagement photos as well as during my wedding reception for photos as well. Their team is so incredibly sweet and helpful. I worked with Shelby during my engagement photo session and Laura during my reception evening. Both ladies were absolutely amazing at what they do and made every pose effortless and comfortable. Their photos are beautiful and have a timeless glow to them. I still receive compliments on all of our pictures and hope to be able to use them again in the future.

Amazing!!!

I hired Shelby for my destination wedding in Jamaica! She did an amazing job and was able to do multiple events I had for my wedding weekend. She photographed my bonfire on the beach party, the entire day of the wedding and I even did a trash the dress photo shoot the day after the wedding. All the photos were amazing and all my guests were so impressed with her professionalism and her creativeness with all her shots. I got all the photos back in a little over a month and they were all so beautiful. She is highly recommended by myself, husband, and both our families.

Worth every penny!

I found Shelby on twitter through my cousin's friend and I was drawn to her work. I was nervous to work with someone that I wouldn't meet until the day of my wedding but Shelby kept continuous communication with me throughout the months leading up. When we met, she was outgoing, bubbly, and determined. She delegated the family portraits with ease, worked well with my videographers and DJ, and made sure that I was happy despite the rainy day. A few days later I received teaser photos and was so anxious to get the rest. The teasers alone left me speechless. A month later I received the full set of photos and they are stunning. Absolutely amazing. My husband and I are so thankful we picked Shelby. She exceeded our expectations and gave us wonderful images that we'll cherish forever.

5 Stars isn't enough!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Shelby. Shelby was our videographer for our wedding and we cannot stop obsessing about how great the video turned out. Even our bridal party was raving about how amazing she was. Shelby is creative, fun, professional, and easy to work with. She did an amazing job at capturing the perfect moments so we can hold onto happiest day for a lifetime to come. If you are looking for a photographer/videographer, she is the best of the best!

Shelby turned our moment into a memory that will last a lifetime!

Shelby was an excellent photographer to work with. She answered all the questions I had about the process leading up to the proposal and made everything seamless. Her artistry and vision captured this once-in-a-lifetime moment into something we will cherish forever. The pictures were edited quickly and in the length of time she told us to expect, and she also included a video which was a wonderful surprise. Shelby is a great photographer and even better person and we highly recommend having her capture your special moment or event.

Unforgetable experience!

Shelby is beyond talented! She shot my surprise engagement! She genuinely loves and cares about her work. We were limited on time before the sunset & she got all the shots in with time to spare!
