Jim and his team, Ofelia and Martin are truly, "Always the Best." To start, their level of professionalism is far above others places I had initially looked into. Jim was very easy to get in touch with, his pricing is very fair, the packages are open for altering to best fit what is wanted or needed.

The day of my wedding, I was beyond wowed with all of them. Martin (photographer) was spectacular and all guests had nothing but the best things to say about him. He and I had not got a chance to go over any pictures I might have wanted specifically but after receiving all the photos, it was very evident that he knew exactly what he was doing!!! My pictures were amazing! All the music provided was spectacular and Jim was very interactive which completely got everyone out of their chairs. I would recommend Always the Best for any event!!

Jim, Martin and Ofelia, at ALWAYS THE BEST in Oxnard Ca did a fantastic job for us. Far exceeding our expectations. We got everything we wanted at one place. Photography, Videography, and DJ services. We just got more then what one would have expected. The price I thought was very reasonable and competitive. The service was exceptional. The kind of service we all want. We could tell that our wedding was important to them. They said what they would do then the amazing thing happened. They did everything they said they would do, and more. They were professional, organized, polite and business like. They showed up early and when things ran too long, they stayed late. Everyone seemed to know there jobs very well. Communication was definitely the name of the game. The experience showed. Jim was a fantastic DJ. He played all the music we had asked and then continued with his own great selections staying within our demographics. He can sing amazingly too. Martin the photographer definitely knows his craft. He really captured all the right moments and all the emotion too. The videographer was right there beside him getting all the important shots. The "BEST" part was weeks later when we got to see our photos and video. As I said earlier. Beyond our expectation. The name suits them well. When I saw the tears of joy in my brides eyes, I knew I had to do something for Jim at Always The Best to show our appreciation for there hard work in capturing the memories of our great day. What else can I say Jim but THANK YOU ;)

I am so pleased with the services I received from Always the Best Photography, Video and DJ! We used all 3 services and could not have been happier with the outcome! Everyone was on time and very easy to work with. Jim did a fantastic job with our music and was a wonderful MC for our special day! We picked up our video a few days ago and have watched it almost a dozen times already! I highly recommend Always the Best for all three: Photography, Video and DJ services!

I honestly could not have been happier with my wedding photos. Jim did a great job throughout the entire day. He showed up early and didn't leave until we got all the photos we wanted. He was very professional, and his prices couldn't be beat! Once we saw the photos online I was amazed! The Hi-def photos were amazing and he provides photos in black and white, sepia, color, ect.
We had a few issues arise at the ceremony make it run late and Jim completely understood and worked with our time frame. We were truly blessed to have found Jim!

We had such a nice experience with Jim and his crew (Martin and Nick-photographers, Larry-videographer, and Robert Garcia-video editor). Jim was very flexible with our budget. He took a lot of time especially preparing for the reception as far as what we wanted. We got a bonus of him singing at our wedding, something which we had actually wanted but never asked for because we thought we couldn't afford it. You can tell he really enjoys deejaying. We heard comments from guests that he kept things moving along, and the dance floor was almost always full of people. (He told us his tricks to get people to dance.) Everyone was very prompt. Jim is also very knowledgeable as far as reception venues and great photography places. We highly recommend him!

Jim at always the best was so saavy in helping us with our wedding music and planning. He spent extra time editing my songs together and I went over the choreography for the grandballroom entrance which was not easy ....I had three different songs and he sliced them together perfectly.....so that on wedding day it was so perfect....the timing and his announcing us as Mr. and Mrs. it was magical.

We met often and emailed often to make sure that we were always on the same page as to what my needs and desires were. He also has a great voice and if there is a lag in the wedding he can bring everyone together with a great song and audience participation....which really was nice at my wedding.

Jim is a "good egg" and I recommend him highly. It is important to take responsibility and ask exactly for what you want and be clear and concise in communicating this. This is what I did with Jim, and we had great results. I asked for thiskind of music during dinner, this kind during dancing, and Jim was kind wnough to let my brother play his keyboard during the reception, as my brother wrote a song for us. I find so many people dont communicate their needs to vendors and end up blaming them for their own lack of communication. People are still talking about my wedding......Thanks Jim....good job!

Jim (the DJ) and Martin (the photographer) were amazing throughout the entire process. They were very friendly and always trying to work within our budget. During the day of the wedding, they were very punctual and very professional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Now that we have seen our pictures, I can also say that Martin was amazing in capturing the great memories we had of our wedding. Thank you Jim and Martin.
