User1070317 Sent on 01/16/2013Jim, Martin and Ofelia, at ALWAYS THE BEST in Oxnard Ca did a fantastic job for us. Far exceeding our expectations. We got everything we wanted at one place. Photography, Videography, and DJ services. We just got more then what one would have expected. The price I thought was very reasonable and competitive. The service was exceptional. The kind of service we all want. We could tell that our wedding was important to them. They said what they would do then the amazing thing happened. They did everything they said they would do, and more. They were professional, organized, polite and business like. They showed up early and when things ran too long, they stayed late. Everyone seemed to know there jobs very well. Communication was definitely the name of the game. The experience showed. Jim was a fantastic DJ. He played all the music we had asked and then continued with his own great selections staying within our demographics. He can sing amazingly too. Martin the photographer definitely knows his craft. He really captured all the right moments and all the emotion too. The videographer was right there beside him getting all the important shots. The "BEST" part was weeks later when we got to see our photos and video. As I said earlier. Beyond our expectation. The name suits them well. When I saw the tears of joy in my brides eyes, I knew I had to do something for Jim at Always The Best to show our appreciation for there hard work in capturing the memories of our great day. What else can I say Jim but THANK YOU ;)

Cassandra Sent on 01/30/2010This vendor provided the following services for me: RUINED MY WEDDING RECEPTION! I don't even know where to begin. He was absolutely horrible, trecherous,faulty, !@#*'ed up and unprofessional. The only part he didn't mess up was the music for the dinner portion of the reception, and that was because I provided a CD that I made myself which was labeled, "MUSIC FOR DINNER." He was so impersonal and did not follow up with anything. I would call the office and never receive a returned call. I stopped by his office and he acted uninterested in the details that I was trying to explain to him. He was completely unorganized and unprepared. He ASKED me to send (e-mail) him an outline of the reception, names of the bridal party, etc. This section also had a comments section like, what not to play or what not to say. Right before he announced the bridal party he asked for this list. WHICH WAS E-MAILED TO HIM. cause he didn't have it!! Guess where I found it? In the SENT items with a confirmation reciept. So in return he messed up my bridesmaid's name. He announced my (deceased) Mother and asked her to,"Please stand up." The paper clearly said deceased next to her name. He forgot to announce the person who gave me away. She yelled her own name while she walked out. And as if that wasn't bad enough he announced My husband and I as Mr. and Mrs. (wrong last name)! The paper clearly said the correct name to be announced. In my comment section there were very clear BOLD directions to NOT sing or kereoke, Do not play this certain type of music and no interactive dancing. ALL three DO NOTS were DONE! In the middle of him singing, my MOH pointed to the DO NOT list and he continued with his song while looking right in her face. UNPROFESSIONAL with total disregard to instructions. I wouldn't use him if his services were free. Hopefully vendors read these reviews. If so, Always (NEVER) the Best DJ, Photo and Video SUCKS!!!! My wedding was on JAN 08, 2010 so you know exactly who submitted this review.
