Not only did she alter my wedding dress to fit like a glove, but she also tailored my reception dress two weeks before we were flying out for our destination wedding! Denise was amazing!!! Her work was top-notch and her prices are UNBEATABLE. She was so sweet and kind too, and she works very fast! I had 2 dresses fitted (one as a backup) and they both came out perfect! I highly recommend her!

Oh man, did Denise knock it out of the park. I have super sensitive skin that turns red easily. The material of my dress had some areas that irritated my skin, which was not ideal. One alterations expert suggested I wear glide. Denise had a better solution - add plastic lining to the dress in those areas.

The dress already fit pretty dang well, but she gave it that extra bit that it needed so it felt comfortable all night long. Her bustling was amazeballs, since it was all color-coded and manageable. Plus, she's also really friendly, super communicative, and willing to help however she can. Recommend 1000x over!

Denise is magical! I had a very intricate dress that I had purchased off the rack (a size up), and she managed to make it fit like a glove. In addition to the hem & bustle, she made it fit my short torso, and did some complicated work to make sure that I filled out the bust in a way that looked natural.

She was recommended to me on Facebook, and I couldn’t have been more lucky to find her. She is based at a hotel in Lithicum, MD, but was kind enough to do a house call for my first fitting because I don’t have a car. Her pricing was extremely reasonable, and the quality of her work is impeccable.

Denise was absolutely fabulous. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting her I knew I could trust her with my dress (and my life). She was very clear on all of the altering procedures she would be doing and carefully explained why she would be doing those procedures. She has a fantastic knowledge of dresses and you can tell she’s experienced and knows her stuff. She’s passionate about her work and extremely fair with pricing. She’s so welcoming and talks to you like you’ve been friends for years. I would recommend anyone and everyone to use Denise’s expertise!

I highly recommend Denise for all of your alteration needs. She is so sweet and really really cares about her brides. She is incredibly responsive, I really appreciated that she preferred just sending texts back and forth; in the craziness of wedding planning it's so nice to have a vendor that is just a text away. She was very transparent about everything, giving me an estimate beforehand and offering plenty of time-slots for me to come in. When I arrived for my fitting, she worked quickly but was extremely pleasant to be around and talk to; hearing stories about her career was so fascinating! She was very confident in being able to alter my dress and I knew I could trust her 100%, I wasn't exactly sure what needed to be done to make it perfect but she knew right away just by looking at it. My dress was originally a sample gown, and it had some loose strings/lace/fuzz, and she went above and beyond to make sure it looked brand new again. Her turn-around time was amazing, and I picked my dress up just a few weeks later. The alterations were perfect and she did them at an extremely reasonable price. Denise is such a sweet lady and can absolutely be trusted with your dress, she is the best at what she does and you can tell it is her passion! I plan on using Denise again for any alteration needs!! Denise is such a joy to work with!! She takes such personal care for every dress and every bride she meets!! She wanted my dress to be pure perfection for my wedding day and was so bothered that the dress zipper was visible that she masterfully reworked the dress so the zipper was beautifully hidden. We were having difficulty with a decorative sash to add to my dress and Denise painstakingly molded the sash with clear webbing so it would be secure with the dress. She even called me before my final fitting to make sure I was happy with how she planned to fix the decorative sash. I loved working with Denise!! I especially love her energy!!! You have to see Denise!

As you can see from other reviews, Denise is a wonderful woman. I was an embarrassingly delinquent bride and needed my wedding dress altered within a matter of weeks -- I reached out to Denise and she responded immediately to set up time to talk. I wound up with 2 appts -- one initial appt, and then the second was my pick-up appt, but she did some quick tweaks then and there since I needed to have the dress to head to my out-of-town wedding. Denise gave me tips and tricks, and she is able to put you at ease and talk you through any and every question or concern you might have. I can't thank her enough for taking on a tough and quick job that many other seamstresses would have turned down.You can tell that she knows exactly what she's doing, so it's great to know you're in good hands :)

Denise was so delightful to work with! She responds quickly, has reasonable pricing, and does amazing work! I had a consignment dress that was a little old and wanted to add cap sleeves to my dress. Denise told me she would try to make it happen but couldn't make any promises because the fabric was very hard to match.
