Altar’d Events is simply put- a team of wedding wizards. They somehow brought our fragmented vision of a wedding to life and absolutely shattered our vision (in a good way!). It was a treat working with them for the year leading up to the wedding. They are a constant beam of assurance and practicality which is what you need when there are so many decisions to make! I knew they were always working in our best interest whenever they represented us to our vendors. Throughout the process, they were incredibly organized and willing to lend a hand with anything I needed. Every single time my now-husband and I got off the phone or left a meeting with them, we always said to each other “thank god we have them!” The wedding of our dreams simply would not have happened without them and we cannot thank them enough. The week leading up to the wedding and day of were stress free for us as we knew the Altar’d team had everything covered for us. That allowed us to soak in the moment and not have to worry about the wedding logistics. They are also just really cool, fun people, and if you are going to spend a year planning a wedding with someone, you might as well enjoy their company! We thought we didn’t need a wedding planner - we did. It’s hard to plan a wedding. There are so many moving parts, so many details to consider, and most people like us have never been married before and have no experience draw upon - do yourself a favor and hire people who HAVE done many weddings before, and are excited to do more.
We ended up getting the Management package, and thought that was the perfect amount of assistance. The team at Altar'd helped us pull it all together and consider organizational details that never would have occurred to us. I can’t imagine how much more stressful and chaotic it would have been without these people.
The whole team at Altar’d is fantastic, especially Sam, whom we primarily worked with. She was was incredibly organized, responsive, knowledgeable - not to mention patient. The online platform they use (AislePlanner) is also very thorough with checklists, seating, contact info, timelines. The team was with us throughout, including at the menu tasting and the rehearsal.
The day of our wedding ended up being incredibly smooth - everyone tells you that things can and will go wrong at your wedding - but no major issues arose at ours. I was impressed by how seamlessly everything came together.

I knew for my wedding day, I didn’t want to worry about anything and I didn’t want my family to worry about anything. I truly wanted to be completely submerged and carefree on my wedding day. I made the call to the lovely Altar’d Events ladies and they made just that happen. They recommend the coolest vendors and every vendor LOVES these ladies and I can see why! They know what they’re doing and they make you feel like the most special people. You are not just a client to these ladies, you are apart of the AE family for life. I highly recommend hiring a planner for your wedding day, but more importantly hire the AE tribe. You will not regret it.

We used them as our day of coordinator. Their online portal was fantastic and very helpful in organizing our guest list and making sure we were on track with our planning timeline. They were able to provide good vendor suggestions for the areas we had not yet finalized. On the day off, the team was great at helping set up and tear down the venue. This group focuses on the little details to make sure your day is amazing, from making sure your favorite drink is in hand throughout the night and making sure the day ran smoothly. Our families barely had to lift a finger at the end of the night and we were all grateful!

Despite being pretty organized, I knew I needed a lot of help with wedding design and decor. The ladies at Altar'd Events were fabulous! They listened to my ideas, toured the venue with me, and came up with a gorgeous vision for my venue on my wedding day. They were flexible and respectful of my budget. They recruited excellent vendors, and executed everything perfectly on the day of. Though we had discussed what the decor would look like extensively beforehand, I was floored by how beautiful everything was when it came together. Callan and Allissa took care of logistics and setup on the day of, while I sat back and enjoyed my wedding day. During the entire planning process, all I had to do was bring some Pinterest pictures and answer a few simple questions.

We met with several wedding planners prior to choosing Altar'd Events. They were all organized, meticulous, and well-connected, but what set Altar'd Events apart was their ability to intuit what I wanted even when I could barely articulate it myself. Hire them now; you won't regret it!

I began my wedding planning all on my own and after calling about 7 venues and taking one venue tour myself, I knew I needed help! I scoured the internet and after reading countless 5-star reviews (ALL OF THEM ARE 5 STARS…I just checked!), and seeing on her website that her closet, like mine is color-coded and arrange by sleeve length, I emailed Allissa in a panic! I was stressed out and overwhelmed with all the details! It was over a year out from my wedding and I couldn’t find a single venue that had any available Saturday dates in October 2018! Allissa called shortly after receiving my email and scheduled to meet with me only a couple days later. From the first time I met with Allissa I knew she was the one, wedding planner, that is! My best advice to anyone considering hiring a wedding planner is DO IT, NOW! It was the best decision I could have made! The second-best decision I made was hiring Allissa and her team at Altar’d Events. From the first time we met with Allissa, she was so attentive to what our vision was for our wedding…even if there were things, we had no clue about… and how we wanted the entire planning process to go! She just gets it! After hearing about what we wanted, she complied vendors and set a venue viewing. We chose the very FIRST venue that Allissa showed us because, she just gets it. Moreover, while at the venue meeting, the venue staff was asking questions about the ceremony timeline. Being that this was over a year out, my head was spinning, but Allissa rattled off answers with no hesitation for things that I would not even have thought about! From there, it got even easier. She has an awesome network of top-notch vendors to pull from to make your exact wedding vision come to life! From photography/videography, hair and make up, to florals, to food, to the DJ, to the officiant, to the last minute shopping for blankets to keep my guests warm (and then tying them with yarn to match my color scheme), she thought of everything and did it all! I can’t emphasize enough that working with Allissa is the very definition of stress-free wedding planning. All we had to do, quite literally, was show up! She took care of the rest and it was a dream. We had a lot of friends and family coming in from out of town and we wanted everyone to be able to enjoy their time with us, and because of Altar’d Events, they and we were able to do just that! To Allissa and the lovely ladies of Altar’d Events, we are so appreciative of all your hard work to make our day magical! It was better than we ever imagined! Thank you!!

Our daughter chose Altar'd Events and Allissa from various reviews, and what a good choice it was! Immediately upon meeting Allissa I knew.... I knew the feeling of home , that feeling when you meet someone that reminds you of yourself and your family. Not having a wedding planner prior this was a new experience for us to work through. It became quickly apparent that Allissa was professional, attentive to our wishes and a total value if we were going to have that special night we were looking to achieve. We could not have made it happen without Allissa and her support. She provided so much value it is hard to explain all the things she managed for us. Allissa provided sources for various things that we needed, she gave us insight and warned us what to stay away from, which we would have had no clue until too late. Anyone planning a wedding should secure Allissa quickly as her request will be in high demand! Her team was wonderful and helped pull the whole event together. Hiring Altar’d Events (Callan) was a decision I was very grateful my husband made! I admit I was reluctant to hiring a planner/coordinator. I truly enjoyed planning our wedding. But the truth is when it comes down to the 2-3 months before your big day - you need these people! There were plenty of logistical details I never touched or nonetheless even knew when they were happening. We hired for Wedding Management which was perfect! It was important to us that I didn’t worry about a single thing on the day of and I didn’t. Which is amazing because I’m type A. There could have been an issue that arose that day but I never knew about it. My bridal party told me afterwards they couldn’t believe how flawless our day went! We are very grateful for the work Callan and her team put forth.

The absolute best decision we made – well aside from deciding to get married – was hiring Allissa and her team at Altar'd Events! Their tagline should be, “Stress. Free. Wedding. Planning.” Or maybe, “Best. Money. Ever. Spent.” Most would not believe there is such a thing – “stress free”, but Allissa and her crew were absolute magic (oh and I should add, I am an event coordinator). Not only did they keep us on budget, on schedule, and insanely organized, they made the entire planning process FUN for us, giving us more time to enjoy each other and take in the memories which is SO IMPORTANT! We truly enjoyed every moment working with this fabulous team and are totally bummed we won’t be able to talk every day (okay, sometimes two or three times by the end)! Thank you Allissa for making us feel so special from day 1 and for crafting the wedding of our dreams! We couldn’t have done it without you!!

You HAVE to pick Callan and Allissa! They will make your day absolutely flawless. I was an out-of-town bride, and as difficult as planning an in-town wedding is, planning one out of town is that much harder. I used the ‘wedding management’ service, so while my mom and I did a lot of planning together, it honestly would not have come together without Callan and Allissa!! They made sure I was on track and that I knew everything that needed to be done on my end, then they took over and the day was perfection. If anything went wrong, I never knew about it. They took the stress off my and my mom’s shoulders. The whole weekend was absolute bliss, and it would not have been possible without them. Thank you, ladies!! :)
